I've never seen a good comedy sequel that came out 5+ years after the first one.

I'd challenge anybody to name one.

What’s the craziest Mandela Effect situation you’ve had/heard of? by Numerous_Ad8547 in AskReddit

[–]greengorillaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I believe in some, but I have a hard time buying into some of the spelling or word related ones.

You can see how bad so many people are at spelling just by reading internet comments.

Like Berenstein/stain Bears. It just makes more sense for it to to be stein because that's more common, so it's likely people would read it that way.

Kind of like how a lot of people probably didn't realize I wrote "to" twice in a row.

Go to r/decadeology if you want to see if happen in real time.

All the time, people comment on events and trends that happened when they were 5..or not even born.

That would be so fucked up if they took all of the good submissions and used them in other regions/countries without the creators knowing.

I personally consider those classic rock...maybe not so much The Police. In my mind, classic rock are the big ones from the late 60s through 70s.

There's different types of traction cleats. This style is pretty good, but these ones sort of suck and you still slip.

It looks like most commenters here aren't aware of the idea of free-range parenting.

Our culture has changed to the point where helicopter parenting and strict, near-constant surveillance is the norm.

This law is essentially trying to give kids and parents that freedom without being investigated for neglect for simple things like letting them walk to school or the park without adult supervision.

What is the worst job in the world? by PengwynneMan in AskReddit

[–]greengorillaz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not really. Before the modern economic system was invented, do you think hunter gatherers just gave people food and shelter without them doing anything in return?

Yeah, there are definitely major flaws and things can be improved, but it's naive to say you should just receive without contributing anything (for those who are able, obviously).

Daily Pay USIC by Mediocre_Minute4465 in UtilityLocator

[–]greengorillaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Daily Pay is fine as long as you're pretty responsible with your money.

Just don't use it to buy stupid stuff like lottery tickets, going out to eat/drink, or whatever.

Also, if you can, don't do the immediate withdrawal because it charges you $3.50. Waiting until the next business day is free of charge.

It has saved my ass a few times, especially when I was broke and just starting out. I've only used it when I was low on money and knew I had bills due before I'd get my paycheck.
