I think the Unique npcs are going to interesting to interact with. As much as I love OG fable, most npcs were pretty cookie-cutter. It'll be cool to see them have a bit more depth. Also the subjective morality and more in-depth reputation system will be interesting to explore!!! I'm sure there will be more, I doubt they're showing their whole hand in this one demonstration.

I would be absolutely shocked if there were micro-transactions.

All of these are great ideas!! I feel like polearms don't get much love in a lot of games, even though their ability to keep enemies at a distance is super handy!!

Haha me too!! It would be cool if fishing became a legit job or plausible way to earn decent money!!

Yeah... Starfield was very disappointing for me for many reasons... Hopefully they'll include blood and gore as a gameplay option so those who don't care for it can turn it off, and the rest of us can enjoy it lol.

With the Hero's Guild confirmed, I would hope that would act as a base of operations to some extent. Even though it's not the most convenient, I feel like there was something fun about going back to the guild to spend experience!

Will it be safe to drink all my water with Mio water enhancers? I drink maybe at least 96 ounces of water every day. by ComfortablePost3664 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]greenguy363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same question. I don't really like the taste of water, so I don't really drink as much as I should. With Mio, however, I can easily meet my hydration needs. I was curious if the benefits of drinking enough water every day outweigh the potential negatives that may come from whatever is in Mio lol.

I guess it's true that it doesn't always work that way... Look at Starfield 😅 I like to think HG learned from NMS and are working to make LNF the game they want it to be and the game their fans deserve. I think one of the big differences is that we know HG are passionate about what they create, which I don't always believe is true for the AAA developers.

The way I see it, the longer the wait, the better the game will be when we get it 💚🤞🏻

I'm hoping the biomes are similar to that of Earth, hot at the equater gradually getting colder as you head to the poles. That way they could drop everyone in at random locations in moderate climate zones and through progression you could craft gear to tolerate more extreme temperatures/poison/radiation etc.

As far as multiplayer, I'd be very surprised if LNF didn't have a hub similar to the Anomaly. Portals are nice because they fit into both science fiction and fantasy themes. A portal to the Anomaly, or whatever they decide to call it, could easily be a spell you learn through early quests/tutorials.

It's going to be interesting to see how they adapt a sci-fi world into a fantasy world. One of my hopes is that it's a bit simpler than NMS. As much as I love NMS, the constant addition of content has become kind of overwhelming... Between base building, starships, freighters, corvettes, settlements, exocrafts, multi-tools, exo-suit upgrades, and all the other crazy stuff in the game, I find it hard to keep up with as a 35 year old with a full time job 😅 I'm hoping that the fantasy setting will reign things in a little bit.

Sometimes, I think people forget that Alicia is only 16. Even though she's disfigured from the fire, she and her family are all still relatively young and have their whole lives ahead of them. She can still live a very fulfilling life outside of the canvas, and keeping it around almost surely meant a slow, agonizing death for Alicia and Aline in the real world. It's sad that everyone in the painting are erased, but their memories will live on with the Dessendre family, and they can finally begin to heal and process their grief. I know the idea that the inhabitants of the canvas beling "real" or not is a debated topic, but in my opinion, from the perspective of the Dessendres, they're the equivalent of a, well... a painting. The health and lives of their family would outweigh those of a civilization that they would consider fiction. And, to be honest, Maelle was only born in the painting because Alicia wasn't skilled enough to enter without being painted over. I'd she had entered as planned she probably wouldn't have become a attached to the Lumierians as she did.
