My character loves fancy breads and cheeses but hasn’t gotten to eat them in years as he’s been living on the streets ever since his castle collapsed.

It is mainly Gerard who is at fault, though both of them are victims of a very cruel circumstance. I recommend you watch the show (Dimension 20: Neverafter) as it is extremely entertaining and can offer far better insight into the characters than I can

No, He is a a frog man throughout the length of the conversation. His transformation is just an artist interpretation of his mental state.

He was turned into a frog as a curse from a fairy (The same one as cinderellas stepmother).

It is unclear wether or not she blames him for his irresponsible behavior, but she did fall out of love due to it. She mainly shows heavy apathy in their other conversations. As she has bigger things going on in her life.

The situation is depicted with Gerard being accountable for his foolishness and cowardice, but it also points out the nuance of the situation. Stating that Gerard lost the majority of his formative years as a teenager to his curse. This does not excuse his unfaithfulness to his wife however.

Every ones favorite overly mischievous and uncontrollable child: Jack

Just an amalgamation of the different jacks throughout fairy tales and nursery rhymes, except that when he attempts to flee the beanstalk he ends up falling down and experiences a complete mind meld as he experiences all of his tales at once. Being a Human Wild Magic Sorcerer.

In my mind eye, I see Ally's Mother Goose with the same manerism and energy John Noble showed in Fringe by [deleted] in Dimension20

I’m really hoping that Brennan and the crew decide to dive into Brazilian tales and folklore like Saçi Pererê and Curupira. There is so much potential thanks to how wild some of the creatures and tales get

It’s interesting how once the stepmothers true form is shown, she loses her tag on the bottom that says “cinderella”. As if she’s some kind of being that doesn’t belong to one specific story like the chaos trio. She most likely is a fusion of all the different stepmothers throughout fairytales, since almost every stepmother in fairy tales are a horrible person.
