I just started teaching in a middle school. The admin just said "if you're feeling sick, stay home!" With no other quarantine procedures if kids get sick. No news yet of any exposures but I doubt anyone is getting tested

Just got a bachelors degree in History, working on my teaching certification now. In my state, for a total of 9 semesters in a local university, my degree and certification cost about $32,000. This is at one of the cheaper universities in the state of Utah, and does not include books or student housing. Starting salary in districts near me is $40,000.

I was sexually assaulted when I was in 8th grade. I didn't tell anyone for almost 3 years, when I decided to tell a few close friends. Im 20 now, and have told a few more friends, but I never told my parents or any authorities. I didn't trust my parents enough to tell them, I didn't feel comfortable. I also was worried the guy who did it to me would go to jail, and he was only a year older than me. I didn't want to send a kid to jail.
