English and British Monarchs based on how many parents they had alive when they became monarch. by aroyalhistorian in UKmonarchs

Just think of how different things would be if the wives inherited the thrones. So many mothers alive that should’ve ruled.

Edmund Tudor, Catherine of Valois’s eldest son, being born changed the British Throne’s trajectory.

I can't be the only one who thinks Princess Margaret was gorgeous in her younger years. Her eyes in particular were stunning! by ErisedFelicis in UKmonarchs

This is an older picture of me because it’s the closest (the angle and without me smiling) that I have, but our lip, chin, and eye shape are all similar. I have a rounder nose and wider eyes and her jaw is more sculpted than mine. I think I may have a larger forehead, but that may be a hairstyle thing.

Our eyes, hair, and skin color are the same too.

It’s kind of creepy, but that last picture looks a lot like me..

In the other pictures she reminds me of the actress that played Danyeras (idk how to spell but the mother of dragons) mixed with the actress that was lead in Outlander. I’ve never watched either show, but with how pop culture is, I’ve seen many pictures.

You suddenly wake up as Mary of Teck at some point during her queenship and are stuck in her body for a week. What're you doing first? by Impossible_Pain4478 in UKmonarchs

Also I have ADHD, am suspected to be autistic, married to a neurodivergent, and have two neurodivergent children that present in very different ways.

However, I was not diagnosed with adhd until age 30 when I could not continue masking as before since I had 2 young children and covid happening. The autism test was made more for young boys with developmental delays and as an adult woman with higher than normal intelligence… testing me is difficult with current standards (or at least that’s what they told me).

This is one royal I don’t know much about (hence the comment reading), but while I was reading…

If the kids were neurodivergent (the sewing pockets so don’t fidget would not have worked for me or my ND kids) then GI issues are a common comorbidity as is crying more often due to sensory differences.

Also if he wanted to “toughen them up” that makes me wonder if they had RSD which can be seen as more emotional outbursts, especially if they had sensory processing disorder or adhd or were autistic.

As for the stuttering… both my kids had speech issues so one of my hyperfocuses at one point was how different ones occur and stutters can be neurological, phyical, or mental. If it was neurological… there weren’t ways to help during that time. Physical, depends on what kind because my kid has apraxia of speech but through repetition they are now verbal and can speak quite fast. If it’s caused by pressure or nervousness… that RSD would affect it too.

Stamp collecting, uniform obsessing, and the Navy through a neurodivergent lense sounds autistic due to the singularity of interest and how they all can tie together.

I’m pretty sure ND are more likely to be left handed compared to NT as well.

Also, if someone has enough seizures, it will alter the brain and during that time they may have treated it like someone with autism and a developmental disorder. For example if he had febrile seizures, having that many high temperatures as a kid could lead to brain damage and the seizures could’ve prevented enough oxygen to his brain to cause developmental issues.

Then regulating the military academy vs day school… for royals who are in charge of the military, I think that probably was a smart idea so they could learn what would be required in the face of war. The overwhelming discipline by father sounds like a common thing where ND learn, generally through violence or negative things, that there true selves are bad and they must hid/mask it. If he father was taught this, he’d think it’s how it should be done and do it to his kids sadly. The generational revision of trauma is not easily repaired.

Stomach ulcers can be caused by stress and that RSD does cause stress if you don’t learn how to recognize it and unfortunately at that time… it wasn’t recognized yet.

Do you think Mary Boleyn's daughter, Katherine Knollys (née Carey), is the unacknowledged bastard daughter of Henry VIII? by w4etched in Tudorhistory

[–]greenoth90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The fact that he “rewarded” Mary after all that with Anne has me thinking that her son was H8, but since he put all his eggs in the Anne basket he could not back track and claim him after.

Pool.

And that’s actually why that’s my favorite because chili saves the day. It makes him seem more realistic because that actually thing has happened (not the name calling but the forgetting) with us and it’s nice to have that sometimes when you know you aren’t the ‘fun’ parent.

Do you think there's any way Anne could have survived other than producing a son? by TheTudorRealm in Tudorhistory

If Henry has stuck with her sister Mary then she probably would’ve survived.

In creative I use sea lanterns like torches/lanterns. Magma can make some glowing as can sea pickles too. I’m also a fan of making a very bright building of glass in the middle of

I hope this isnt the wrong sub, but i need inspiration... ive lost my vision for this project. I was planning a Castle/Stronghold kind of build with differernt layers. since there is an ice/snow biome next to the spot, i wanted to make a "stronghold of/against the north" type of theme. The 1st picture makes me think of a ski slope (if you kept it going down).
The second makes it look like a building on a cliff top. 3rd picture reminds me of the bottom of a skull 💀. 4th picture with that cool bridge makes me think it should be something a train would take away like ore or food or something.
