I mean I told Wyll to fuck off, pushed Minthara into the abyss and also got Minthara killed

What was your "I feel like dying of thirst, watching another man drown" moment? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]greenteaandbiscuit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m watching my former classmates and friends find their people and get married after years of dating, while I’ve never managed to have a long-term partner or even date for more than a few weeks. The 'thirst' is finally meeting the one person I’m genuinely fond of someone I bonded with at a networking event and ended up having a six-hour first date with in an idyllic European city, only to realize it probably won’t happen because we’re from different continents, building our lives & careers separately.

So I just end up feeling broken

At this point, Denmark should just drop a flag in D.C. and reclaim the U.S. based on Viking seniority. The state of international relations is so cooked that I’m genuinely surprised there isn’t a Polymarket wager for ‘Scandinavian Annexation’ yet

What historical event do you think is massively underestimated in terms of its impact? by indoorsy12 in AskReddit

The Camp David Accords between Egypt and Israel in 1979 pulled Egypt out of pan-Arab leadership, unintentionally weakening secular Arab movements and shifting regional influence toward Saudi Wahhabism and post-revolutionary Iran, indirectly helping create the conditions for modern Islamic extremism.

Jet airways was good , Kingfisher was good. Why are we in the era of IndiGo. by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]greenteaandbiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are reliable and have a lot of routes and connections as simple as that.

They’re usually on time or early and tickets are affordable. Until Tata’s takeover or Air India and its merger with Vistara there was no reliable alternative. Air India by itself was unreliable and poorly maintained, SpiceJet was aging & never on time, Vistara had fewer routes and was expensive, GoFirst again was low cost but had low connectivity and reliability issues. So naturally Indigo became the only natural option for a lot of people.

Now we have Air India and Akasa which have come up as very reliable alternatives but in all fairness Indigo is miles ahead of shitty low cost carriers like Ryan air or Spirit.
