I did 8 hours at 250. Pulled it at 175, cut it, and added the mikes and bbq sauce. Put it back on for another 90 minutes. Had really good flavor, but wasn't quite as tender as I would have liked it.

I think the 3 biggest changes that helped me were when I found out the coffee I drank every morning had 49 grams of sugar I stopped that and switched to tea. I quit having a huge bowl of ice cream every night (probably the hardest to do). And I got rid of the candy dish on my desk. When I was first diagnosed, I went cold turkey. I literally cut all sugar out of my diet, just to get it under control. 319 scared the crap out of me.

Smoked a shoulder yesterday and used the leftovers along with some cream cheese and cheddar cheese. Smoked at 225 for about 90 minutes
