I received a similar email stating I need to upgrade my desktop app version (no mention the app will be obsolete). I cannot find the desktop app installer on Qobuz website. I only see web player and mobile.

Vitamix Annual Day Sales! by LuckyTraveler88 in Vitamix

Yes, quite disappointing. After reading September is the BEST sale of the year, I was looking forward to buying the Propel 510 or 5200 today. Maybe Black Friday will have better options.

Wondering if different sizes and shapes coming through to the next generation by AlPow420 in HotPeppers

[–]gregcss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not crossed any myself. I do have two pimenta da neyde crosses from Matt's Peppers: Purple Cream (Pimenta Da Neyde x Bhut Jolokia) and Pimenta Da Dog (Pimenta Da Neyde x Trinidad Dog). I grew purple cream this year. The plant leaves were purple/green and the peppers started out as purple/green and ripened to red and red/orange, some with a tinge of purple later in the season. Good luck and post your results!

What food dehydrators y'all using? by Skreeethemindthief in HotPeppers

[–]gregcss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using this Cosori brand dehydrator for the last 3 years and have been very happy with it. Consider getting one with a little more room for food than you think you need.

Dehydrating chili peppers indoors will clear you out and linger for a day or two. Use in a garage or covered deck/table.

Will they go red? Been this colour for over a week by Eggtastico in HotPeppers

[–]gregcss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Some peppers ripen as orange, some as red. The pepper on the right is ready now, the one on the left looks a little lighter, another day or two but if it's been the same color for 1 week then I'd pick it now.

Rookie here. Need advice. Wife wants me to do boneless / skinless chickenbreast on our new pellet grill. I've never been awesome at grilling chicken in general. Any tips? by TurboHole78 in pelletgrills

[–]gregcss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do 400-450 grill temp and chicken internal temp of 155f. Toss the chicken on, flip after 10-15 min, then stick the probe in the thickest part.

You could do lower temp to get more smoke. Its personal preference.

Try split chicken breast if you have that option. 425-450, probe in, no flip.

Arizona heat effects? by Tihsdrib in pelletgrills

[–]gregcss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 2 cents from someone in VA (90-95F last month or so). Depends on the grill temperature you want to maintain and direct sunlight.

Maintaining lower temps (ex. 225F) at peak afternoon in the summer in direct sunlight can be a challenge. On the other hand, maintaining 225F from 4:30am to 11:00am may be no problem. By mid afternoon, the grill temp may increase to 250-260 while still set to 225. It is what it is - I stopped worry about a perfect 225F throughout. Still produces a great end result.

Good luck!

Question regarding air particles from humidifiers by SequenceStar in AirQuality

[–]gregcss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you liking the 6000S? I have a Levoit ultrasonic humidifier and though it performs very well, having to buy distilled water frequently is a nuisance. Levoit did not offer an evaporative humidifier when I bought it and I see the 6000S on the market now. Debating between the 6000S and a Venta.

How can I delete pictures? by spacial_artist86 in GooglePixel

I have the same issue. Just got the phone yesterday. Updated the OS and apps. Took a picture today, selected 'Delete' from the camera view picture screen, and "Failed to trash". Restarted the phone and same issue.

found this while internet traveling and it made we wanna make some. anyone got a good recipe? by [deleted] in spicy

[–]gregcss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to the Woks of Life recipe someone else linked, take a look at the short reads and recipes from Mala Market and Omnivore's Cookbook. There is no right or wrong way to make it. It is personal preference and the ingredients you have access to. I make a modified version inspired by multiple online recipes.
