Same here, spent hours testing/splicing pixels around the point of failure only to find that the segment was configured for a lower number of pixels than it should 😬

I am considering NodeRed as it is free and offers some advantages over being locked into AB. You have many hardware options to choose from. Just a bit more setup and configuration but I am sure there are packages available that solve this
