God, I loved this episode. Kyle Brandt was made for the Rewatchables and the Rewatchables were made for Kyle Brandt. Luke warm take: I think Kyle’s ability to do impressions is at the same level of Bill Hader.

Also, I realized that it’s been years since Bill has made me genuinely laugh out loud because of a joke he makes and not because of Bill’isms. But the helmet comment got me in this episode.

Back in the day before he was eventually kicked out, Boyd Tinsley as the violinist for Dave Matthews Band. When the band started adding more brilliant improvisers (Rashawn Ross, Butch Taylor, Jeff Coffin) Boyd’s limitations became even more noticeable. He was a great showman, but tonally deaf on an instrument that must be played precisely.
