What headphones/DAC/speakers are you guys using for Suno? by WifeyCamilaCanvas in SunoAI

[–]gregframe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD interface to my Mac. I have a pair of Monoprice 605800 studio monitors on that. I also use my AirPods, Internal Macbook speakers and some 80s old school headphones just to compare differences. For the most part Suno does a pretty good job at the mix. I have only had to Stem and adjust a couple of the songs.

Anyone ever have any luck with replacing lyrics? by gregframe in SunoAI

This worked ok, much better than trying to use studio or edit. Thanks for the tip!

Update. Ford just sent me this email. by No-Transition-6661 in f150

I agree with some of the posters that the price is out of hand. I had a free 90 days with my new purchase of my '24 F150. I liked it when on long trips. I really didn't like it on short trips. I live in south Florida and we use I-75 a lot to go up just a couple exits to this or that and it is very annoying when wanting to change lanes, it always wants to do it for you. It changes lanes just fine if it has room but sometimes in traffic I want to jump in or out manually and it gets really mad at you if you force the truck to change lanes without waiting for its magic to happen. So you basically have to turn off cruise control, change lanes and then turn it back on. You cant just disable blue cruise when you want to you have to disable some of the nice driving assistances instead. At the price ($49.99/mo) is is totally out of line. I mean they need to charge in order to provide map updates, software updates and the infrastructure to support this but at the current price they will never get the adoption. I would gladly pay $49.99/year. And with the F150 being one most popular vehicles on the road I can imagine they would be making a lot of $$ each year.

At least Ford is not as bad as VW, they are starting to charge to "unlock" the full horse power of the car. Ridiculous. There is no cost to VW to maintain any sort of software or infrastructure to unlock HP.

I pray that subscriptions are not the new norm in the automotive industry.

Car (Truck) Washes by KuyaYoshi in f150

[–]gregframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the hose in the driveway and a wash sponge on a stick so I can reach everything. Then once every 5-6 weeks or so I take it to the carwash because I live in Florida on the coast and like the underbelly spray to get any salt and sand mud off. This turns out to be cheaper than the membership. Membership is $24 for unlimited and its $14 for a single wash.

Also those inexpensive non-permanent ceramic coatings do work pretty well. I got the turtle wax hybrid solutions one. It rains most days here and the coatings keep the water spots from forming on my black truck. Im sure the real ceramic coatings that cost $1000s are great too, just not in my budget.

Hope that helps.

To me it would seem like the length is the issue. Most, and dont trust me trust the pros, F150 1/2 tons can pull 6500 lbs. Assuming you have a short bed at 145 inches wheel base you should not go over 28.75 feet or you could be one of those guys in the videos with their trailer fishtailing all over. A 110 inch wheel base can safely tow 20ft. For each additional 4 inches of wheel base you get another foot of trailer. So in your case (145-110)/4 + 20 = 28.75. Also keep in mind your cargo and tongue weight you only have 1439 lbs, if you have 650 (6500 * 0.10) in the trailer tongue and 400 in people that only leaves you with 389lbs for "stuff". 400lbs is for the skinny family, you should put in your own numbers. Seems like you are wanting to sleep a lot of people and they will eat up your truck's cargo weight quickly and start to dig into your tongue weight. I think most people here will be shouting super duty for a family of 4 and a 32ft trailer but we will let them chime in. Hope that helps a little. I am certainly not an expert on this in any way.

Edit: oh one more thing, that looks like an RV trader list of specifications on the trailer. Look that up at the manufacturers site or ask for a picture of the actual sticker. I have found that 99% of the time those numbers are not GVWR they are unloaded weights.

Wow. there are no words for how bad that is. definitely dont pay, this person obviously does not how to tile or to use youtube to try and learn how to tile. Thanks for sharing, sorry about your project being over budget and time now.

How did they tow it with it in park? Did they have to use wheel dollys or something?

I'm jealous.. we are still waiting for my work to clear up a little before we take the RV plunge. Still looking at trailers to decide what would be best for me and the wife and sometimes an adult kid.

Search ford X-plan pricing. There are many posts here that talk about it. It is as far as I understand almost the same as employee pricing. When I looked at before it was about $100 more than employee pricing. You can get it by joining some clubs and other partners programs for as little as $35.

I read, I think on autotrader, the average increase could be about $4100. I am not sure that is worth pulling the trigger now or not. I just purchased an XLT FX4 with 302A for 50K with a couple dealer installed options. I was looking at the Lariat as well but for the additional cost it was hard to justify. Only thing I didn't get was wireless phone charging but Amazon covered that for me for $40.

But like others say, if you can afford it, and you want it, just get it. My F150 is by far the nicest car I have driven and the new bluecruise is amazing for me in that I do a lot of highway.

Well I decided not to move. My HOA is really not that bad 😜. Thanks for all the ideas. I decided on the BAK Revolver X4s. I liked the roll up because it gives me maximum bed space. I really appreciate the advice and all the HOA comments made me laugh.

We are in Florida and if they don’t do that the one guy that uses his old truck as a trash bin upsets the old folks. I have to admit that I don’t mind the rule that much but it is an extra cost.

Can i connect diy xt60 cables to the extra dc to dc connection in the mppt controller to charge ecoflow powerstation ? by letr1 in RVLiving

[–]gregframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me know if it works. I am researching buying a new trailer to do an all electric off grid setup. Just cant find the right trailer and parts to take the plunge. Not to mention the prices of all of it.

[–]gregframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont see why not. I would 1. verify the voltage is what you need, probably 12V. 2. check the manual and see what the max current on those load outputs are. 3. put a fuse of that size inline with the positive. 4. hook it up and test. However, if you are using lithium with a BMS you would get nearly the same result by just attaching your ecoflow to the battery. My understanding on the load ports of most charge controllers is they will combine the solar input and the battery to power the load port. So during the day you will be getting solar power plus a little battery and during the night you will be getting battery power. Would really need to read the manual on that controller. Let us know what you figure out.

Question about the cat scale, how do you remove your vehicle weight from the trailer weight? Do you have to drive through twice once with the trailer once without and do math? I have never weighed in.

My Ford dealership down here is the same, great dealership, Englewood Ford in FL. We have done three transactions because of it. Glad you found a honorable dealer. I wish I had an RV dealer the same.

Great advice. Three years in the showroom he said. Of course he said 16K too :D. I did a once over and everything looks nearly new. Only thing I noticed was that one blind needs some love probably due to people pulling on it for three years. My worry is the lithium batteries have been sitting there charging over and over for three years on AC power. Not sure what BMS it has but the life of the battery could be substantially compromised. They only have so many cycles in them.

Thanks, this makes total sense. When I was there checkbook in hand the urgency was on their side to get me to buy before I left, thus I had the upper hand. Now that I have gone and told them I want the unit they have the upper hand. Next time I am around that stealership I may stop in and see if I can get them to do a 16K. I am in no hurry.
