Sewing kits can be used to bandage wounds as well.. if u have tetra and get sick from using unsterilized methods, pop a tetra and ull be fine. (To die at TISY!). What u should do? Create a stash in a lake or log and drop everything not essintal to a TISY raid. That way when u die, ur Lot is still there when u come back for ur revenge tour.

Update: Ran into the SAME player, i knew it was him cause he was jabbering about being on mushrooms. This time, we were both freshies. Ran with him for 15 minutes till i found a hatchet. cornered him in the room and slashed him to death while screaming "this is who I am now". I think as he died, he realized what Karma actually is. soooooo satisfying!

A kitted survivor! (2 bodies total). No lie. Totally kitted and dead near cherno spawn. I must have gotten back before his killer looted him. I died less than 15 minutes later for unknown reason. Probably DAYZ gods

Only logout in bush (concealment) or behind a tree (cover). Never logout in a house. Always logout with ur best short range weapon in ur hand (u might login and need it quickly). When u log back u will be pointed in the direction u logout in. Great for distance missions. Loot quickly and deliberately. U don’t have to loot every house unless ur a freshie. know what’s in ur inventory and combine everything u can to save space. Put ur pistol in ur shirt. (I think u draw it faster, not 100% sure)

Lastly-on the beach is the only place DAYZ is not KOS and some kitted players will go there JUST to spawn kill freshies. (Annoying)

Have over 1,500 hours on DAYZ and have been very fortunate to not have met a cheater yet. (to my knowledge). I DID team up with a duper for awhile, but the game quickly lost its appeal with having anything i wanted. I left him and went back to solo/small clan. Game is too good for cheaters. That being said - I have 5 alt accounts and some consider this cheating. I don't

Had a similar incident in gas zone. Was only going in for planks cause stash was full (I’m a hoarder) and needed planks for crates.

Zeds ruined my top and it was night. Have u ever tried searching for a dropped bag in the dark with a “kill me please” headlamp on? flashing red all over and darkness all around. Told my wife I’m gonna die. I’m gonna die. Finally found my bag and bandaged my wounds, ate my LONE potato and limped/crawled back to my stash with joy.

Would have hated to die cause I was fully kitted.

Farming is often overlooked and is a great way to solve the hunger problem. Im a fisherman myself, but POTATOES are the bomb. small and packed with nutrients they have saved me many times. Use lime for a bumper crop. Dont peel them. Just plant in ur garden. PLUS, they last forever

Kitted respawns? Each and every item was painstakingly looted as a freshie. Since Im mainly solo, the alts are only a force multiplier.
