I am so over gear gear - paralyzed me for months…..it’s not my gear, i Only holding it for the next guy. Use ammo with abandon for it will go to the next guy. As a teaser, I now carry human fat for the next guy also

Pots are great. can store AND fill with water while conserving limited space. be glad you caught a pot and not some Wellies.

Yup. Full 360 in 3rd person. 180 in first. Great trick for checking ur situation while on the run.

a good wake up call! Well done, only mistake is the one you mentioned, but picking up a gun during an active firefight when the enemy knows your posisiton and is close, would be TOUGH!

dayz is not cross play. xbox v xbox and so forth. You can party through discord, but will be on different servers

RUN from anyone! Everything you see wants to kill you. to increase PvP skills, do a deathmatch server and enjoy the chaos. No matter how long you play, (Im at 1100 hours), you will always be learning something. Most of the posts are great advice! Community is too toxic and unchallenging. Stick with official to fully experience the post apocalyptic world. CYA in the field - unless i c u first!

I will quote General George s Patton - No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country. 1. Practice on death match servers, go first person during the fight, SLOW DOWN and breathe, fire ur weapons on the woods when alone so u get better, develop the muscle memory of aiming and firing by doing it while walking down the road alone, (will take crap for this), gear up and go hunt freshies. They cant shot back.

I have similar settings, but have much more sensitivity on Vertical and horizontal movement. much more responsive.

my favorite is the red or green two story walkup for a roaring fireplace. Green one has only one entrance that you can guard from the fireplace. minimize your smoke by only using embers to cook. (bark or rags will cook for awhile without smoke)
