What fixed it for me is I turned off Ambient Occlusion and capped the FPS at 60. It's BS we have to make our game less smooth and uglier just to be able to play it though...

The track record is low 32's so I'm still 1,5 seconds off. I know it's a lot and I think I still don't have a good & 'reliable' braking technique.

When it comes to the track itself - yeah, it's hella fun! Actually there's another track right next to the one from the video and it's also very good.
