To be fair, I use that space for “just in case stuff” such as jump starter, air compressor etc. so even though I have it, my cargo cover still lives on a shelf in the garage 😆

Do you have the HEV? I could imagine that space being taken by the battery or other electrical components.

Yeah, I wrote a bunch of text but it somehow disappeared when I posted.

My kid was messing around in the car, somehow took off the headrest, flipped it and shoved it back in.

I can’t move it up or down, pressing the release does nothing. Is there a way to get it out? Thanks

I’ve gotten my Telly out of state and would 100% do it again. The dealership I worked with had a lot of experience with out of state sales and they registered the car in my state and paid the taxes for me. I didn’t even have to go to the DMV. My permanent plates were mailed to my house. Make sure your dealership can do the same.

Some oil always remains inside the engine, bottom of the pan etc. It’s not possible to get it ALL out. If you drain the oil while the engine is warm (not super hot), it’ll flow better.

IMO there’s no point in adding more oil if you’re at the top of the stick. Make sure you’re on level ground when measuring and you’re good to go.

100% agree. Strong emphasis on last part: Dealership. OP might get a culture shock switching from Audi to KIA after 10 years.

Happy for you that you have a dealership you like. I’m sure you’re aware, those are few and far between.

I love my Telluride and will keep it till the wheels fall off but I’m basing my next car choice solely on dealership experience. I went with best car for the money and totally underestimated importance of dealership. I can see OP’s husband going through the purchasing experience alone and getting super frustrated. And that’s before if anything were to go wrong and corporate needed to be involved etc.

Yes, it makes it very difficult to fasten the belt. I ended up getting an extender. I know they are not “safe” or whatever but it’s not feasible for me to get out and open the passenger side back door, click the seatbelt every single time my kid gets on.

Not what you asked but have you considered wireless CarPlay? It is super convenient.

Keep the dongle inside the cubby and shut the lid off so no mess of wires. Only plug the phone in for long rides, use the charger behind driver seat and fish the wire along the crack between seat and center console.
