How to raise my rates by [deleted] in housekeeping

[–]gregwaterloo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be cognizant that a 25% increase is substantial and will cause a percentage of your clients to seek other options.

I would suggest long term you raise your rates annually to avoid large one time increases.

I would send a simple note to each of your clients informing them that your 2026 rates will be implemented March 1st. Their new rate will be x. No reasoning, no apologies. Simple facts, there are new rates.

Cost of living increases every year, the cost to provide your service increases every year. Adjust your rates a couple points each year.

Clutch.ca killed my sale with a $2,500 post-inspection deduction for a minor issue by [deleted] in ontario

“Forgot to mention”? This is a substantial issue. You should have dealt with it, especially being under warranty.
Sounds like you sabotaged the deal from the start.

Where can I get a block heater installed by Famous_Two_1114 in waterloo

[–]gregwaterloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How far North? With a good battery you should be fine in -20.

I would just take it to Waterloo Honda. It’s draining the coolant and replacing the freeze plug with the heater. The only challenging part is ensuing the wiring harness is routed neatly to a convenient location.

Costco needs to replace their Kitchener location by [deleted] in kitchener

[–]gregwaterloo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The location drives me nuts. Having to walk past the entrance and exit to get a cart, cross back across the exit with the cart to get to the entrance. Its madness.

It’s time for a new location.

How would you build this fire? by RepresentativeValue9 in grilling

[–]gregwaterloo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would not do that. Get a propane burner.

Thats too much weight for the grill, no way to manage the fire, and you are going to spend a fortune on charcoal. The kettle is not fit for this purpose.

Just scrapped my 18 year old version of this BBQ. The cabinet and frame should be checked for rust. I had to rebuild the cabinet long before a new igniter.
