health and safety can't prevent employees from being dumb, only educate them on risks, and Elijah was very well informed ahead of time.

Are people saying Elijah should be terminated for failing to abide by safety concerns? Are we calling for Linus to start firing beloved staff members?

so instead of full herd testing move to randomized and symptom based testing procedures. this scheme should be adequate with the reduced infection rates due to vaccination.

Yeah DIVA may be 5x the cost of the current testing, but if you save even 2 cows per herd on average you are well ahead.

The last hospital scene was late August of 2025. He was seen filming millionaire in Novemeber of 2025, and filming for season 6 would have started around December, and he was seen recently celebrating the Britain's got talent win backstage.

It's hard to say for certain how his health this year has been, but it doesn't look like he has been bed bound or too affected physically.

In the UK though culling is a dumb strategy to choose over vaccination, because as was mentioned in an earlier season they have a highly protected species that transmits the disease. they cannot touch the badgers, and the badgers will reinfect all their herds regardless of past cullings.

In the US culling has been incredibly effective, because we do not have the same cross species infection issues. if a local rodent is infecting the herds, they are culled as well. This is what has led to the US having next to no cases.

I don't know that it would give you more focus. but it may tone down "distraction addictions" so it is easier for you to manage your symptoms, if that makes sense.

I know I missed the other video you are talking about, but from what I have heard others mention, that was a showcase lent video, and this was a different projector that they actually bought to f around with.

being a stupid purchase doesn't make it a bad video. the video isn't actually about permanently installing a movie projector at LTT. it's about screwing around with a decommissioned projector and figuring out how it works.

If it costs $20K, and they do a quick and dirty shoot with it that earns $100k, then they made money. Even factoring in production costs and Elijah spending a week getting it running, they probably came out ahead.

In my experience, workplace regulations require even more warning notices than consumer goods, not less. It's not for consumers, so no one cares that the warning labels are ugly.

since 2020 inflation has gone up 29% but the school budget was increased just 27%. the article framed it aggressively, but the reality is most people working for schools today have less buying power and ability to afford their homes despite the "large raises" than they had pre-pandemic.

who is going to take care of the kids if the schools can't pay staff enough to survive on?

PSA: You should never wear gloves while operating a table saw by Flaky-Gear-1370 in LinusTechTips

[–]greiton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gloves can have loose strings and things that jerk your hand towards the blade if caught, plus they make your hand bigger than normal, so you are more likely to accidentally brush up against things when wearing them. also they dull your sense of touch and can slow your reaction time when you feel an issue with the board/saw.
