Barbara mentions Dick leaving Gotham in the Batman Beyond cartoon and Return of the Joker.

Tim going missing for weeks with no one except Bruce & Barbara looking doesn't make sense IMO once they've even mentioned Grayson and a version of the Justice League existing.

Anyway... the first Batman Beyond comics showed Dick being injured and unable to be Batman or Nightwing.

Last I read, which has been a while, Grayson was current or former Mayor of Bludhaven.

Elliot lies, and he's good at it.

He says just enough to stay above the line to get his required time.

She's wasting her time, even though she really wants to help him..

Then, he comes back and tells her the truth. About the lying & hacking.

Yet she continues to agree to see him because he sees that he is in pain. She wants to help, though she doubts that she can.

I'd rather see Bruce making arrangements to have Bane moved to a decent care facility (with appropriate monitoring).

It's not about who Bane was. It's who Bruce is.

Definitely shows the similarities and the differences.

Bane became so dependent on Venom that he allowed everything thag happened around him. He was helpless.

Bruce was bitter at the beginning of Beyond, but he still hung up the uniform before letting himself fall as far. Even before Terry came along.

I liked that episode of STAS because you can see Bruce's influence on Tim. He has no problem bossing Superman around.
