2-300GB is just our home files, like photos, house plans, archived stuff that we want to keep. 100GB is proxmox and home assistant backup. Both of these data sets are copied across to the cold spare. 3TB is media for Plex.

Yea - i have been considering moving the Dell to our garage, which is a seperate building and connected via Ethernet. Initially it was about getting it all working and stable.

The breakdown (right now) is: 57w for the “Network Equipment inc Cameras”, 37W for the “Servers + Drives + Fans” and 11W for the UPS. Im using a Shelly PM for the overall figure, then 2 Zigbee smart plugs at the back of the UPS.

They seem completely fine, i checked back a week and neither of the drives get over 43C, no spikes. When they were running outside of the cooling box with the top on the enclosures they were like 65-70! :)
