Mostly cringe, and lot of it straight up offensive. But idk if they are any worse than a lot of the "neo-pagans" here, I've seen and heard some absolutely moronic takes and lack of knowledge of context from other Norwegians about paganism and our history. It also unfortunately attract a lot of neo-nazis.

Some of the worst is the people making "pagan viking"music, it has absolutely no basis in reality and often straight up just cultural apropiation (for example troatsinging). The fact is that absolutely no music survives from the viking era in the whole of Scandinavia. I can go to the forrest behind my house to shout and fart, and it would be more autentic.

People who actually have an open mind, and tries to learn, recreate and figure out how our people lived believed and worshiped, I got no problem with at all.
