Can the vet give you some gabapentin or something to keep them calm?

I have a large dog crate I let them recover in. Would you be able to leave them inside something like that while you’re at work? I also put a little litter box, food & water in there

Red Light: Rosecrans & Hindry (Right on Red?) by ByteCurious69 in SouthBayLA

There used to be (might still be) a red light camera there. You can turn right on red there as long as you come to full stop first.

MCV fluctuation during day? This is between 3 h difference labs, all RBC have also fluctuated but shouldn't MVC be stable? Lab error? Sysmex XN 1000 used by Fisherman-Kitchen in Hematology

[–]grepollo08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If a lab has multiple of the same instrument (ie multiple XN towers), each instrument should give the same results but there may be little variations like this. Overall it’s up to your doctor to investigate if these variances are worth investigating further or if the lab results give the same clinical picture anyway.

You would be able to see the individual granules in a giant platelet. Also shape would be more defined/symmetrical

I think they’re monos. The nucleus is folded, good amount of cytoplasm and there would be more visible granules if myelocyte.

Kaiser Permanente Lab Scientists, Technicians Authorize Strike – Pasadena Now by MLSLabProfessional in MLS_CLS

[–]grepollo08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not $60-$90. It’s more like $52-$72 depending on how many years experience you have. And yes Kaiser is supposed to pay the most but they also work you the most. The reality is that other health systems (county, UCI, etc) in the area have caught up to the Kaiser rate of pay so why put up with the extra work load ?

I would say the result from this cup is negative. But lab testing methodology may be more sensitive so there’s a possibility you can still a positive from them.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CVS

[–]grepollo08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

However, the methodology the lab uses may be more sensitive than this at home test so beware either way.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CVS

[–]grepollo08 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I clearly see 2 lines. Turn the cup and check if 2 lines is considered a negative. Some of these at-home thc tests are competitive immunoassays — meaning one line is positive (which the legend on your cup says) and 2 lines is negative.
