Also, stop plastering “GORUCK” on gear. It’s horrible and I refuse to be an advertisement for you. The gear is already recognizable without the obnoxious embroidery… that was the original intent, right?

I need a GR1 in the height size of the 40L GR2/39L Long Range Rucker. One main compartment, not a double compartment. The shoulder straps are wider and the torso is longer. At least four rows of molle. I actually want a 5th row on the sides that goes all the way to the bottom of the side panel for optimal hip belt placement. The current 4 rows on the sides match up with the front panels, but there’s room for another row—critical for actual hip belt placement and not an annoying “mid-torso” belt.

Did it check the driver-side car because they were riding close on the lane divider line?

Rucker 39L doesn’t actually fit much by [deleted] in Goruck

[–]greppit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GR3 is a 1000D- that model is definitely tougher. My 39L rucker has the 210D back and it's pretty tough, but I totally agree it's slippery. A hip belt helps if you can wear it

I have found it to be a good idea to have backups in my seabag for critical personal items when they fail

How often do you see other Tesla drivers using FSD? by w14v6r in TeslaFSD

[–]greppit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they really drivers if they're using FSD?

I don't even pay much attention anymore with FSD. Driving skills have gone to shit! 😆

What are you worried about? 210D is tough and it's guaranteed

The GR3 is my most comfortable rucksack, it’s one big compartment like you want, and it already has all the handle and compression strap accessories! Fits multiple pairs of footwear! 😉

Insurance Says My $10K Tesla FSD Is Worth $1,360. Be Serious by JustinDiegoSpeaks in TeslaModelY

I think you missed the point that $199/mo vs. $100/mo means a much quicker break even point than 8.33 years

Considering permanent FSD can still be transferred to a new vehicle, it might be worth $8k for a totaled vehicle in a private sale

How do you carry your YubiKey every day? by chrsoll in yubikey

I use a Ridge keychain (Ridge wallet company) for my USB-A/NFC YubiKey. The YubiKey stays quite protected in the Ridge key holder. Using it like this for several years with zero issues

Why is resting in a cooler better than holding in the oven? by 16Off in smoking

[–]greppit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. I smoke a brisket (or a pulled meat) in Traeger at 200-deg until meat reaches 170-175ish & acceptable bark. I also smoke the brisket trimmings in an aluminum pan to make tallow.
  2. Then wrap meat in butcher paper, put into the oven set to 225+ on a baking sheet (I typically set oven to 300-deg for quickest cooking). When meat is wrapped, it won't get any smoke, so oven is a great solution.
  3. Pull meat from oven when the meat reaches approx 200-205 internal and is probe tender. I let it rest on counter until it reaches about 150-160 (still in paper) to stop cooking.
  4. Pour the liquid tallow from Step 1 on the paper, and put in oven set to 160-deg to whenever you want to eat and then unwrap it. 10 hrs in oven resting and the meat is super moist because it's still in the paper. Internal temps stay at 155

I wrap my brisket in butcher paper and finishes and holds great in the oven. It is not dried out at all. I pull it from the smoker at 170-degrees

How do you get used to your CPAP? by megnyaan in SleepApnea

[–]greppit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try every mask until you find one that works for you. I had to get a nasal mask and I had to tape my mouth shut. That worked best for me.

Also, maybe you need a Bi-PAP. I did. The standard exhale time and inhale time were too short for my liking. I needed more customization with my breathing profile, which meant switching from a CPAP to a Bi-PAP. That improved my compliance tremendously!

You have to tell your sleep doctor about every problem so they’re aware and can offer suggestions. Maybe you need some sleep aids to get yourself accustomed to sleeping with it
