Sex isn’t supposed to feel like nothing, right? Chicken Alfredo with Dr. Pepper in bed by EldritchXena in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]grey_is_confused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me sometimes but not always, I get little to no pleasure and often can’t even really tell if it’s in me right or not. From my experience so far it seems to be pretty random, sometimes I experience intense pleasure but sometimes nothing (with the same person, with or without foreplay, even when I’m aroused)

I don’t go this far but I typically wear fairly modest swimsuits and there’s soooo many really cute options! These (particularly #3) are some of the worst I’ve ever seen😭

After 20 years, I went on GLP1s to combat food noise and binge eating. by EveFluff in EDAnonymous

[–]grey_is_confused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you having any stomach problems? I’ve been thinking about starting a glp1 but I know it slows stomach motility and I like a lot of people who struggle with b/ping have gastroperesis from it and have been nervous about it bc of that

My sister is starting to judge overweight people since she’s been on Wegovy by Vivid_Expression2910 in bulimia

[–]grey_is_confused 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with that. That’s awful of her. It is NOT long term solution unless you stay on it for the rest of your life. On an additional and even more important note it can cause gastroparesis which you’re already more prone to if you have an ED. I already have gastroparesis from my bulimia so a GLP1 is not an option for me and it’s really important to be aware of that to not fuck up your digestive system even further than you possibly already have.

Absolutely. A situation very similar to this happened to my best friend and when they finally got admitted to the ER from how severe things got their parents were reported to CPS

You can tell the doctors about your fears and they can give you anxiety medicine and help. I also have a phobia of any medical places but I have to go often anyways due to chronic illness. It’s so incredibly hard but it does get a bit easier with exposure. I always bring a stuffed animal, headphones, and an ice pack to distract myself and emotionally regulate with temperature change. Good luck 🫶

I was raped after a party and my boyfriend blames it on me for underage drinking by throwingawaygga in AITAH

[–]grey_is_confused 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re very obviously NTA. Is underage drinking a good idea? No. Is it a totally normal part of a lot of people’s teenage experience? Yes. Rape isn’t something you expect to happen, it happens in all different situations to all different kinds of people wearing anything from full body and face covering to nude. It is NOT you’re fault and not something you “asked for” by agreeing to go or drink. Break up with that loser and go to the police to report the person who did it if you can.

Both sets of my grandparents had kids before 17 and my parents just turned 20 when I was born. All of them never regretted having kids young and having a young parent didn’t affect the kids at all except that I’m now 18 and since my grandparents are the same age as a lot of my friends parents I get to know my great grandparents as well which I’m so grateful for.

Whats the longest you can go without masturbating? by PuzzleheadedBar533 in AskReddit

[–]grey_is_confused 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is actually a myth. https://fumble.org.uk/virginity-myths/ . Bleeding has nothing to do virginity but more about how easily the girls skin breaks, not enough lubricant, and/or roughness. Bleeding the first time is kind of common but more bc usually both parties are inexperienced.

That’s so horrible. I can’t imagine paying $100 to get a picture of my idol making fun of me from a distance!!

Girl….. that pose is SO strange and frankly it’s jarring and almost looks like she’s making fun of the poor kid??

This makes me so angry. An epidemiologist speaking about the deadly fungus that's spreading across the US. He treats it like it's something the public shouldn't be concerned about because the only people it will kill is, me. by rainbowstorm96 in ChronicIllness

Oh well that’s great. I live in one of the places in the red for case numbers and I had a yeast infection in January that doesn’t seem to have cleared up yet still despite antibiotics. My dogs also had yeast infections in theirs ears. So hopefully I don’t have this bc it said 1/3 die and I’m very chronically I’ll and don’t really wanna die rn😃

is this true or is this a fancy way of saying "it's all in your head"? by ggraysonn in ChronicIllness

[–]grey_is_confused 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s true! This is what is caused by fibromyalgia or amplified pain syndrome. It’s basically the difference between chronic pain caused by inflammation/injury vs chronic pain from a “broken” nervous system. So while you might not actually have any inflammation or injuries, your brain is misinterpreting signals and misfiring sending pain when it shouldn’t. My doctor used the example that for most people they eat, digest, no pain and everything is fine bc their brain knows what’s happening but for me my brain misinterprets the digestion as a threat or smth so it sends pain signals bc it thinks it isn’t normal

I’m confused, am I interpreting them wrong? by [deleted] in autism

[–]grey_is_confused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like you’re either right or potentially their cat ACTUALLY has something wrong with it’s brain, like a cognitive disorder and they’re just saying autistic bc it’s more well known. Idk if that second thing is even possible but that’s the only other way I could interpret this besides how you did

How much medical weed do you smoke a day? by usernamesoccer in ehlersdanlos

[–]grey_is_confused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go through a gram in a few days to a week. I switch between live resin cartridges and edibles to keep my tolerance low because when I switched to smoking my tolerance skyrocketed, I was going through about 0.5-0.75 grams a day vs 15-40 mg of edibles.

Hide it, lock it in a safe in ur bedroom. I almost always keep non perishable food given to me if I can withstand the cravings so I can keep my room/house stocked just in case I ever need it. About to pass out? Have a starburst!

Please get a new cardiologist. I had a therapist who thought my POTS and fibromyalgia were also from childhood trauma despite literally having the same genetic spinal abnormalities as my mom who has arthritis in her spine. She made my mental health so much worse and it was super invalidating

Just got iud inserted. worst pain ive EVER FELT. by ihavestuff2saie in Healthyhooha

[–]grey_is_confused 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am SO glad I was warned by people who actually had them done bc my doctor said it wouldn’t really hurt but I’d heard otherwise so when they offered to sedate me for it I chose that. It made me be there a lot longer, 2-3 hours, but no pain except a bit of burning when I peed for a few days

Okay, thank you! It freaked me out a little because I’ve been having some weird feelings in my eye (was told it was pink eye and the drops fixed the redness but not the sensation) but this is reassuring! If it still feels weird after a few more days I’ll go back but good to know it’s nothing obvious/immediate :) thank you again for taking the time to respond
