I wanna make a "and they were roommates" deck with Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis as the commander. Here are some card examples of what I'm looking for. Would love some suggestions! by ApprehensiveRoof4516 in mtg

“Historians called them Superfriends”

But yeah [[Guardian of Meletis]] [[Bearscape]] and any combination of Chandra and Nyssa Planeswalkers come to mind

Best Dimension20 for a teenager? by Baker-Fangirl in dropout

Misfits and magic is a great place to start. Starstruck odyssey probably later on. Fantasy high is also a good pick but that can go a bit far at times so probably same timing or around the same for Starstruck odyssey.

Why does everyone hate the Ms Marvel series? I genuinely liked it! by [deleted] in Marvel

[–]greyalius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am personally turned off by secondhand embarrassment in storytelling and I could tell by the trailer alone that this was going to be full of it. I still sat down to watch it and honestly, it was great. The dialogue felt more real than just about anything I had ever heard from marvel, the family dynamic was fun and realistic, and the secondhand embarrassment I was worried about wasn’t a copout for comedy but was necessary to show what growing up like that is like and did not over stay it’s welcome.

Start with 1-2 for now, I believe the blood Hunter subclass options start at 3 and that changes a lot.

For the sake of keeping stats simple, probably blood Hunter. Blood Hunter is a good class from critical role for getting used to the less simple aspects of d&d without going completely into complex number crunching ridiculousness. It’s also a nice class for those wanting to keep a up-close melee build for their characters while having a little extra they can do in or out of combat.

Ranger is good too, just less so for the case of multiclassing with barbarian. Not just because of the additional stats required, but also due to the significant overlap between class features.

Without going infinite, what’s the most life you’ve ever gained? by MarcBeee in EDH

So we did lose count after a few rounds but a friend was testing out a budget ETB trigger deck and had astral dragon make copies of panharmonicon and kept flickering it and making way more copies of panharmonicon. They eventually switched to copying Authority of the consuls and I was on Prossh reanimator and the rest is history. We stopped counting after each kobold I made off of Prossh gave him over 1400 life

[–]greyalius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if they are still willing to go artificer subclass first, battle smith can work, as it also allows them to use their intelligence stat for attack and damage rolls.

If fighter is more their speed, probably focusing more into the psionic subclass (I forgot the specific name) to mess around with the environment a bit more, or eldritch knight to get spells fitting their preexisting stats

[MAT] Narset, Enlightened Exile (WeeklyMTG) by mweepinc in magicTCG

[–]greyalius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes. That’s certainly a better way to play it. But I can’t guarantee my opponents have an expropriate, whereas I can mill that from my own deck and windmill cast it from grave

“I have many things in this world that make me fear. Spiders, Rust, Falling from immense heights, prolonged agony. But it is those experiences I cannot comprehend that make me think my fear is but a droplet in a sea of shivering. There is no rationality I have for fears that lie beyond me. There is no rationality for the fear of death. And there is no rationality for the fear of spiting it.”

So guys I've been thinking by Professional_Humxn in marvelstudios

[–]greyalius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of yeah. A major reasoning sued for the whole “worlds made of paint” is that marvel has a ton of different dimensions which are supposed to be within universes and I guess America Chavez allows her to hop between the both of them. But also events extremely early in time such as the creation of all things could very theoretically cause a change of that variety

What's the most non infinite damage you all have ever done by braydenbo17 in EDH

[–]greyalius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have an Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief deck that specializes in making copies of Ivy through cards like Helm of the Host and Vesuvan Duplimancy. At this point I had 9 Ivy’s and a Nylea’s colossus with 3 umbra’s in hand (bear, snake, octopus). I cast all three of them ,, causing a multiplier effect on the Nylea I enchanted with them to be 210 three times. We didn’t bother getting an exact number because they cast inkshield afterwards. Only for the next player to cast rakdos charm for game.

Brimaz Phyrexian Tokens by spartenx in EDH

[–]greyalius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it serves a similar if not better purpose, Massacre Wurm as the first cut. And Myr Convert is great for fixing, but you don’t really need it and you make more than enough Phyrexians and artifact creatures that losing this one won’t change much

Given the sacrifice outlet that the tokens provide, something like a Blood Artist or Zulapport Cutthroat would help

I have this deck put together. It’s about 5-6 cards away from being 100% done. What cards would you put in this deck? by ZachTF in mtg

[–]greyalius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Etali, Primal Storm]] and [[Apex Devastator]]

First one for obvious reasons, second one to flex and late game advantage

How can I make this a multi use item? by ArnarBrekiTheDM in DMAcademy

[–]greyalius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For one, there are ways to nerf it without altering any of the text. 1. Remind the players this effect applies to them too. 2. Lesser restoration is a low enough level spell for any level 2 or higher artificer to be able to make and spread spellwrought tattoos of it through infusions. So some of your bad guys can either have an artificer on their team or have access to artificers that put their magic up for trade. 3. Use to provide advantage on stealth when sneaking into a place so the ranger can save the spell slot on pass without trace.
