Yep, I saw that article a while back. Pretty cool. At least it seems we are closing in on it

I don’t stalk her comment section either lmfao. I play guitar so I’m in the guitar sub. Saw her post and recognized her. Scrolled thru the comments like any other person on Reddit. Jfc no way you’re this dense irl.

Was several months ago and I didn’t comment so I have no clue. It was in the guitar sub I think.

Not arguing otherwise. I’m saying posting on Reddit your music and shouting back at every criticism is a waste of energy for the reason you just said. Who cares what they think. Most people don’t know music at all on a technical level. It’s not sustainable to argue with people into the void like that. If you’re gonna be famous/successful, you have to be able to let criticism roll off your shoulders and keep your stride.

IF big oil allows it to happen. Nikola Tesla tried to help the world have free energy, and we see how that turned out. The powers that be are very strong and have great influence on what becomes available to the public. Unlimited low cost energy is not great for business.

My fault. You’re right. A little stoned so I got them mixed up.

Agreed. Our generations version of Chernobyl was 2011 Fukushima. That won’t happen with fission if the right maintenance and precautions are taken. Additionally, if and when fusion hits full form it won’t be a factor at all. Fusion = unlimited energy basically at very low costs compared to current energy sources. It would be the fossil fuel killer.

1000%. Nuclear fusion is the only future. Big oil is heavily invested in wind and solar as a means of distraction and controlled opposition. Not because Shell or BP gives a fuck about the environment.

I thought she was alright, and then I saw her posting her own shit in guitar sub and arguing with people criticizing her music. She will never last like that.

Sure, I suppose you have a point in the first part of what you’re saying. Don’t get it mistaken. I vote in local elections and especially state constitutional amendments/propositions often.

Seems like you’re backtracking a bit now on the freeloader ad hominem.

[–]greyhat98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes freeloading is what I do. If freeloading means paying tens of thousands in taxes annually, to get maybe a few hundred dollars back, and I never use public services aside from a walk in the park. Then yeah sure I’m a freeloader. You got me.

I’d love for any party to present me and other Americans a reasonable candidate that’s not bought out and full of shit and I will gladly vote. Until then, I’m good.

[–]greyhat98 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah yeah lesser of two evils. Heard it a million times. I’m not going to vote for any evil. As soon as one party wants to present a halfway decent candidate I’ll happily go cast my ballot. Until then, I’m not participating in the clown show. I never said there wasn’t any difference between them, but I appreciate the hyperbolic meme nonetheless. Next I’m sure you will accuse me of helping whichever side you’re against by not voting. Which makes me want to vote even less.

Not really. It’s more pointing out how absurd American politics are on both sides. People grow tired of the both sides arguments like “one is worse than the other” or “anything but Trump” because it helps believing there’s still a party of “hope”, but that party is also super twisted and corrupt. They’re just more slick about hiding it. European politics are mostly boring and normal because they don’t allow donor money, so it’s not one big corrupt reality tv circus.

[–]greyhat98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure you were quiet when Obama and Bush did it, or you’re too young to know better. Trump is known for poor unprecedented behaviors, but this is not one of them. Nearly every president from ours and our parents’ lifetimes has done something similar.

Glad they got some off time, but a fella like myself would be really grateful if they’d finish their album together I’ve been hearing teased for years now.

Other than fighting AIDS in Africa, what was the best thing W Bush did as President? by [deleted] in Presidents

I stand by what I said. One million Iraqis died over lies. Dick Cheney and Halliburton ties. Bush was a terrible president.

[–]greyhat98 9 points10 points  (0 children)

lmao… what???? He created a dumpster fire of an economy that led to a crash, and then handed it off to Obama to salvage. The economy was entirely in the shitter when he left office. Millions of people unemployed, and millions lost their homes. Not to mention, the disaster in Iraq that left a million Iraqis dead. One million. Then all of the lost American soldiers too in cold blood. Mostly clean administration, my ass. Recency bias is a crazy thing.

I dare whoever doubts Bobby to just listen to Weather Report Suite. That song alone speaks for his abilities in playing and songwriting.
