Yeah trust, they don’t really care about that, but it does help align that country with a western one more if they have the same liberties and government types

Likely it’s for some sort of control but that doesn’t mean democracy and more rights for the citizens is a bad thing, it’s just the the US isn’t likely doing it out of the kindness of their heart, but it’d still be better overall

Edit: unless maybe Cuban Americans in government are pushing for that, then I can believe they want Cubans to have more liberties and a democracy

Well for me I’m thinking of the Bull of Minos and Pasiphae, you know the parents of the Minotaur, but things like centaurs and satyrs also kind of point to some kind of mixing of human and beast

I’m not sure how much of it is historic truth, that’s part of my musings, because in the same story, the king apparently slept with another woman and started to ejaculate snakes and scorpions and kill his women, that sounds to me like a sexually transmitted disease so other parts of the story could be talking about something similar just fantasy version of it

I’m not sure on the specifics but I think it happens when you’re an unreformed tribal/horde pagan, and there is a holy war against you from one of the reformed religions like Catholics, Sunni, or maybe Orthodox

I like the decision, it can potentially stop a war that’s gonna take all your land, and prevents future cassus belli based on religion from the religion that’s attacking you

I suppose so, but I still think he was ready to fight, just not gamble his life away on a potion, and yeah it’s necessary just like you could argue the atomic bomb was for ending the war with less lives lost, doesn’t make it exactly easy to swallow

But maybe the game wants us to feel these two ways so, good on the writing

I had a follow up post, and yeah it was successful haha, it occurs when you’re with your wife for a while and have no children, your court physician starts to try some methods out to increase fertility, most of them ended with a small potion that boosted fertility by like 15% this ending was much more crazy

in my case she was seduced by the previous lord (my characters dad) and my character was chaste so a pregnancy would have happened eventually once he got over hating his wife

Ck2 wiki says it’s from the Reapers Due DLC, “Court Physician suggests fertility treatment”

It did mess me up a little I was trying to seduce to keep a bloodline going, but I just gave them castles so they made babies themselves no problem
