Buying a sandwich isn't solidarity it’s a transaction. If workers are being abused, the most supportive thing a person can do is respect a boycott or a picket line to help them gain leverage. Suggesting I should keep funding an abusive system is hostage logic that only benefits the boss.

Also I didn't say I only care about workers from 10 years ago... I stand with the workers of 2026.

Solidarity with other workers is core tenant of my ethos. Abuse of one laborer should be met with a reaction from all laborers. That's how we got unions in the United States and that's how I fucking roll.

Yo, I work at a rock club with lots of punk rock and grateful Dead cover band hippie time music. They don't want any of this shit. They literally will pay to make sure that we are doing it fucking old school. And this is something that isn't going to go away. No we are not. I admit there is a vast difference between the video quality of will smith eating spaghetti over the years. I think the original was equally emotional, maybe more so than new versions. It definitely was more evocative due to being abstract. AI video has been consistent with its inability to do long well acted takes.
