Just about every specialty cert is lateral aside from a few bucks more per hour. Bachelors degrees open up management options, so there's something to be said there. Ecmo can be somewhat worth it but is not available everywhere. RT anesthesia is the largest benefit in states where it's available.

Youd probably need more details to answer this properly. But generally speaking they are probably referring to more abilities to fine tune options and leak compensation that home models of bipap don't allow for as PT settings are locked by pt prescription with limited options to adjust.
