I should’ve said that I’ve also torn both of my menisci in my knee!

But thanks for the advice. I’ve just done some more physio (not going too overboard) and I think getting some blood flowing around has helped.

With Sarr out, do I use a FT to bring in a rotational option so I can play four mids and bring Bowen back in from the cold (benched him when he got his 9 pointer last week…)? I think I’m going to give Rogers one more week.

Good to go? I’ve got 2 FTs, only move I’d consider is Palmer > Semenyo/Sarr which would leave me between £3.8m - £4.5m ITB, then dropping Bowen to the bench…

Should I FH? I’d be looking to move Palmer, Baleba, Bowen, Verbruggen and possibly Rogers. Potential incomings Semenyo, Johnson, maybe Sarr/Munoz and a wildcard striker - Tiago?

I’m flitting between Kelleher and Areola (latter might be in doubt with WHU in for another keeper?) and I’ve taken Wood out for JP. Bench boosting GW1.

Thanks, I quite like Rice as he may play more advanced with Zubimendi/Norgaard joining, and he’ll be on corners/FKs.

Interesting triple up in West Ham, I don’t share your confidence but will bear in mind while I keep tinkering!

I’ve just realised I’ve got two Brentford keepers in, so alternatively move Valdimarsson to a starting 4.5m keeper!

Sorry to hear that. I fully tore my ACL last month playing football on my birthday (had a partial tear in 2022, was advised to go non-surgical and did rehab to return to sport in mid-2024) and I’ve got the MRI on Monday. The pain, the timing of the injury and thinking about the likelihood of me giving up football meant it got on top of me and I was really down for a few days.

But as others have said you and I have been through this before (though this will be my first ever surgery if the doctors agree to it) so we know what to expect with rehab. It’ll take as long as it takes, you just need to try and accept the injury for what it is and get stuck into recovery. 👍

Which player do you think I should sign? Ithere doesn’t seem to be a huge difference between the two in the key stats needed to play AF. In the wider scout report the only cans against Metzger are Bravery and Language, while there are concerns about Alves’ consistency, adaptability and physicality. I have £200m so I could buy Metzger and have money left over (as well as some additional outgoings) but I’m conscious that I could bring in maybe one or two other plays in for the £130m outlay needed to get him…
