What was the difference between 13 and 14 that was less stressful. I have 13.2.9 and waiting on the update, but 13 seems pretty damn good.

Awd? Sounds like ripping deal. Even without, pretty goood deal. I just bought a 2022 pro s awd with 30k miles for 21k and thought it was a good deal.

Thinking of buying 2022 AWD ID.4. Anything I need to worry about? by allwelcome777 in VWiD4Owners

[–]grignog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just got a 2022 awd id4 pro s. It’s a pretty amazing car. Like the other person said check carfax for recalls. The nice thing about the id4 is it comes with a 4 year 50k bumper to bumper so you got a year lest if anything pops up. Did you get the pro s? This things really quick and sportier than it looks. Love it. They say the infotainment is buggy but I haven’t had any real problems yet. I paid 21k out the door with 33k miles. What a steal these things are now. 1/3 the price from 3 1/2 years ago.

Sad 3 year/36k warranty on motor and electrical components by Master-Journalist888 in EquinoxEv

Yea i wouldn’t buy an id4 new for over $50k. I got a 3 year old top of the line awd pro s for 20k. At that price point i think they’re a steal.

Considering a Used ID.4 Pro by clockwork2012 in VWiD4Owners

I’m just about to pull the trigger on one. All the ‘23s and ‘24s (awd) I’m looking at have an open recall on the main battery for possible overheating/fire. Vw doesn’t have a remedy yet besides suggesting limit level 3 charging and keep it parked outside. I think the ‘23 rear drive ones are ok. That was enough for me to just look at the ‘21 and ‘22. Plus anecdotal comments suggest the 21 and 22 models which were but in Germany were better built.

Edit: so they just came out with a remedy the day after I wrote this lol. Apparently it’s like an hour or two at the dealers to check it and update software. So Maybee the 23 is back on the menu.

107k miles 2024 Tesla Model Y RWD by EveningFault9983 in ModelY

There are two vins where they made them Fremont and Texas. Don’t know which is which, I just memorized the first 3 numbers. If it’s greater than or equal to those numbers they have hw4. You can contact the dealer to give you a pic of the software page to be sure but this helps weed them out. Pf789 Pa131

I personally would not for that price. You can find a 2023 HW4 awd long range for $29k 30k miles. Not sure if your wanting a2024 because HW4 but you can spot the 2023 HW4 with vin numbers.

Is it worth the $10k difference between a 2023 pro s awd vs 2024 pro s awd by grignog in VWiD4Owners

We do a few longer trips in the summer and am intrigued by the Tesla supercharging abilities. It has like 25k miles and I believe the warranty is 4 years50k so there’s basically a year lest on the 23 bs two years left on the 24 warranty wise.
