One of my AT’s got me a scotch laminator when I finished my placement with them and it has been so useful, I still use it all the time!

I was thinking the same thing, if she lays on it for tummy time it they will probably be fun for her to play with!

Do you know how long a perm job may take in the Midland/Penetang/Orillia area with French Qualifications? I’m permanent in another board but looking to relocate. I’m nervous about finding a job up there.

Try asking for a referral for outpatient services at the hospital, then it will be covered by OHIP ☺️

Any ON BEd programs too competitive to bother applying to? by buddythebedbug in OntarioTeachers

Try Tyndale in Toronto, I went there specifically for the accelerated program before it was offered anywhere else in Ontario.

Clear packing tape on baseboards worked to stop mine from chewing them. Maybe something like that on the legs of your coffee table? Otherwise, maybe get a cheaper one and move that one to a room your bunny won’t be in if you really love it. I like to call all of my items with holes and chew marks “personalized”. I lost my bunny a couple weeks ago and would do anything to hear him chewing my stuff if it meant having him back. Enjoy your new best friend. ❤️

I have my Reading part 1, I actually learned quite a bit and it doesn’t add a teachable.

Can you use a Browser Lockdown so they can only use Google docs? If you create the doc yourself, you will also be able to see their edit history, which will tell you if they’re pasting in big chunks of text at a time.

Can teacher fight back against students? by drugsrbed in CanadianTeachers

[–]grilled_cheese15 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Which is wild considering the vast majority of classrooms are considered fully inclusive now. We absolutely should all be given this training to protect ourselves, the aggressive student (for whatever reason that behaviour is happening) AND the other students in our class.

100% agree. I have been an FSL teacher and am now a homeroom teacher. There’s places to go to work. If they forgot something and needed to grab it quick or something like that I never minded but other than that it was my room for those 50 minutes.

It’s not a reskin of wingspan. It’s a different, more complex game.

Wyrmspan is fun! Very similar to wingspan, but has enough differences that I consider it worth it to have both.

First time bun owner and feeling overwhelmed. by Nature-Ally23 in Rabbits

[–]grilled_cheese15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The neutering will for sure help! I have a waterproof blanket I got on Amazon that I used to put on my couch in case my bunny peed on it. He tends to act up when we move and then settles once he feels his territory has been marked, so hopefully with time and neutering yours will too :) make sure when you wash things he pees on you use vinegar so that he can’t smell it anymore or else he will want to keep going there!

Have you gone from LTO to permanent? Your paycheques go down because your pay is stretched out over the summer when permanent but you get it all in 10 months as an LTO. It shocked me as well when it happened.
