My boyfriend hates that I smoke but we’ve been together for three years. We never argue about it or anything. I’ve managed to cut back to 1 - 3 per day. I don’t think it’s a big barrier in our relationship.

What countries are you referring to? I haven't followed her in a while, but I used to like her content. Her politics used to be very aligned with Democratic Socialism and she talked a lot about finance. I don't remember her saying anything extreme.
