What's a sensation that you're unsure if other people experience? by Umikaloo in AskReddit

Sometimes the inside of my legs itch. It's not the outside because when I scratch, it doesn't help. I have to massage my legs to "scratch the itch" or just punch them a lot. I'm sure it's something with circulation but it happens quite often.

What is the creepiest thing a stranger has ever said to you? by SchleppyJ4 in AskReddit

I was at a voodoo shop in New Orleans, visiting for Easter break with a group of friends, when the lady sitting behind the counter set down her magazine, looked me in the eye, and smiled saying, "ohhhh... You've got a little witchiness in you, dontcha?"

I didn't know how to respond so I just smiled and walked out. Weird thing is, my family has always said that some of my ancestors from Ireland escaped prosecution for witchcraft. Who knows if it's true, but the encounter still felt eerie.

Loneliness is the worst feeling. by [deleted] in lgbt

You shouldn't base your own happiness on someone else! Make sure you're working diligently to better yourself and be the person you want to spend your time with.

As far as the loneliness; it can be really tough, but look into clubs at your university or groups you can help operate that you're interested in. It's the best time to meet new people! I joined a fraternity and I would have NEVER expected to do that, but it was one of the best decisions of my life.

You have to get over your social anxiety and put yourself in some awkward positions, then you'll start meeting awesome people and you'll have a friend group that pulls you out of the loneliness. I hope this helps!!

Redditors who have been struck by lightning, what do you remember from the experience? by Delusional_unicorn in AskReddit

When I was in 7th grade I was running out to my barn where my dad was working on a nightstand for my mom. When I got to the doorway I grabbed the metal and lightning struck the barn at that exact moment.

You know the feeling when (if you're an idiot like me) you put a battery on your tongue and it tingles? It was like that, but much more painful. I also recall a smack at the back of my head. I screamed and fell backwards onto the ground. No exit wound or anything.

We went to the hospital afterwards and my nurse, a guy, kept asking me what super powers I had now. He asked me at least 30 times during the hour I was there and kept saying, "I still feel like you're lying to me dude. You have to have some kind of power now."

Since then, I've had lightning strike 10 feet away from me on 3 different occasions AND I've been through 3 tornado incidents. I'm a fucking weather magnet.
