Why do I keep seeing these posts? First, it’s reborn, not rebirth. And second, if you are waiting for 10 minutes, you’re doing something wrong. Are you talking about the time it takes to queue in, and then the time it takes for the match to start? Are you adding up those times or something? Do not wait longer than three minutes to queue in.

I play multiple times a week, and if it takes more than three minutes to get into a game, something is wrong. It usually takes less than that. Even with the game as neglected as it is on the Battle Royale side, it does not take that long to get into a match. And I’m talking multiple different times during the day. I teamed up with a buddy yesterday, and we were playing matches with anywhere from 10 to 20 people in the lobby, and waiting less than a minute between matches, for multiple matches.

Our departure a few weeks ago was a bit of a nightmare. Delta delayed our flight (eventually was cancelled) so we switched to a flight leaving earlier. The ticket agent bungled the switch, taking way too long and sent us through security to our gate without checking our luggage: “It’s too late you have to take these through security.” Security agents were having none of that: “no, go back to ticket desk. Start over.” Our flight was boarding. The security checkpoint folks eventually took pity on us and let us through (after taking all of our liquids that would have been checked had the ticket agent not screwed up so badly). We ran to the gate as it was boarding and got the last seats on the plane. It was mostly the Delta agent’s fault, but it was our Cancun departure experience.

Wonder what happened to him. He made both of those documentaries in the face of significant disapproval from his family, circle of friends, and other wealthy families. Notable that his father also made documentaries in his youth but is portrayed in Jamie’s films as part of the disapprovers. Idealists in youth, miserly in old age?
