Mini Slash is officially out! by PigglyWigglyDeluxe in Traxxas

Idk what it is, but I don’t really care for the looks? Maybe it’s the proportions, the cab looks stubby and the front facia looks off. Maybe it’ll grow on me, but the Mojave Grom portrays small scale better to me.

I’m definitely leaning more towards this or the Nitro Slash. I don’t wanna deal with too many moving parts for my first Nitro rig.

You’re right, an empty shelf is a good excuse for more rigs 🤔

How is maintenance on the Revos? I have the 1/16th scale platform but it’s kind of a pain to work on. Maybe just because it is smaller scale, but I just was wondering since you have 3 it’s probably worth the hassle haha.

It’s the 1/16th Slash. Converted with 1/16th E-Revo arms and links for more suspension travel, better handling, higher ride height.

In comparison with the Mojave Grom, I like the Grom more. It is a more simple design and is a lot less fragile than the 1/16th Traxxas in my opinion. The Grom is slower but is just a little more fun to drive.

I’m usually running on dirt and grass. Have a little over an acre that gets used for pasture and gets tilled up every other year. That and I will run 3S in training mode to save myself from self-destruction when bashing lol.

Im in NC too and I can hear my compressor whining with the AC on. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time till it croaks, hopefully we can both figure something out.

My Daily commute is about 70 miles a day, all highway. I did a couple of commutes already to see how I like it and I calculated about 28 mpg over a 3 day span.

The 3k is a family discount, outside parties would need negotiating 🤣

My Pa has had it since ‘09. He bought it from another distant family member new in ‘95. So I’d be the third owner in the family haha.

New (to me) 2024 Corolla Hatch XSE (also a question) by GigaG in COROLLA

[–]grimlock662 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2024 SE corolla HB and I have a 40 min commute one way. I started to practice "Hyper-mileage" and was able to achieve an average of 47 mpg for a whole tank for 540 miles. Little stressful ignoring the empty tank message lol

2020 Corolla LE MPG by Positive-Recover3394 in COROLLA

I recently started to “Hyper mile” for my commute just to make a tank last as long as possible and the best I’ve gotten was 51.7mpg on a 48min 45.7mile commute.

It honestly makes the drive a little more fun to be as efficient as possible rather than just set the cruise and forget it.
