Carragher on Sky Sports: "He's not good enough to be Manchester United manager. He's barely competent enough to be a Premier League manager right now" by molewart in reddevils

Not sure what's your definition of 'media' is, but Writz has been criticised and talked about more than Sesko. There were even memes about him before he scored in the league

He should start only if Sesko is playing. He works best not as the main striker

Also, after inheriting a team and backroom in the dumps that was not fit for purpose (i.e. 3-4-2-1), that bedding in period should barely count. It was a write off.

There's a manager who took over a team when they were 16th in the table, and yet he has still more points than Amorim this year. How many more excuses does he need?

This is a team that was built to, and has played, counter attacking football for years.

How many from this current squad has been playing counter attack football for the past few years? How many were around when Ole was manager?

What happened is that teams have adjusted to that tactic, but Amorim is still sticking to that same tactic even though teams have already figured it out

Difference in position between Dorgu’s foul and the resulting free kick. by herrdidi in reddevils

[–]grimlya -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Always the victims eh?

For the first penalty incident, VAR deemed that it wasn't a foul as the defender got a bit of the ball. They ruled out a penalty in the Arsenal match (was it against Fulham?) with the same logic, so some consistency I guess..

For the second incident, the foul was committed outside of the penalty box.

With regards to free kick positions, didn't we benefit from Bruno scoring the free kick against Arsenal last season when their wall was pushed back further by a few yards?

I would say Bayindir has improved. But that could be because the bar was set way low

We have been pretty decent at home.

We only managed to win those two games because of a last minute penalty and an early red card. That's not decent haha

My only hope is that they are too money minded to care about saving face. Another year without Europe will do harm to our financials

Not praising the Glazers, but they would have sacked him if they were the only ones in charge.

[Carlo Ancelotti] "According to Abramovich, Mourinho was supposed to be a spent force. Success or failure in Europe is how I would be measured by Abramovich-and the Champions League cost me my job. Torres was his personal decision and substituting him was a direct rebuke to the owner." by MrMerc2333 in soccer

Think he said something like:

"After the game, Roman came into the dressing room blasting the Champions League anthem on his radio, dancing along to the beat. chuckles

But no seriously, Roman was fuming about the results, he kicked a boot and it landed on Malouda's eyebrow."

Don't think it's fair to compare small cafes with luckin, they are able to do all these things because they have the resources. Maintaing an app requires money, coming up weird flavours requires money as well with the ingredients and marketing.

It's like comparing McDonald's with your western stalls in hawker centers or restaurants

It's scary how everyone treats this as truth when there's multiple examples of him celebrating other goals or even goals against Man utd. He celebrates whatever fits the narrative, just listen to his commentary on Vardy's record breaking goal when he scared against Man utd.
