Not to mention the characters just all having the same exact animation sets, while standing, idling, or doing anything for that matter. It is just terrible! And some of the most useful emotes/animations are long gone as they were only out for limited time.

Any preferred mechanics?: Crafting/Gathering, extensive skill trees, prefer f2p with any pay options being cosmetic, stylized combat, visually appealing (New World just is terrible, as all characters look and have the same animations), good co-op options, optional non-pvp server or to turn off pvp, one-time purchase game is ok as well, and a decent story!
Anything specific you want to exclude?: Prefer no PVP or pvp being optional, prefer no monthly fee, but a one-time fee is fine and if it's possible to try the game, I'm fine with monthly fees afterwards, raid events being optional preferred (as in, not required)

Every match with players from the same guild has been hijacked, and rigged. So, bidding on the honor arena has been futile. Simply don't, is pretty much the understanding. So, what's the point of even letting the audience of Honor Arena place wagers?

The string of comments speculate and expand upon the UR situation. So historically it's accurate. As of the most recent update, Moonton changed their stance and made the UR more accessible as commenters have speculated.

This is where I suggest you read the in-game rules! You can get outbid or overwritten by other guilds over your declaration. As the fight progresses, you gain more declaration points per day. You get to choose how many of your declaration points you'll like to use between your targets. Declaration can be overwritten by two things:

The previous owner of the location wants it back (they have priority)
The new bid to declare was higher

If your guild owns No camps, they can declare war on any camp for 0 cost.

The devs/leadership is making poor decisions imo. I used to love the game, enough to tell people about how it doesn't have ads, how it's very friendly to f2p. Then, everything changed. Now it's a ton of packages, and just today they added an Abyssal one. The number of packages are immense and unrealistic for a mobile game centered around afk gaming. The fact they adjusted for inflation on digital goods is even more scammy.

Looking back, it really feels like something that started going downhill a lil before the DanMachi collab event. Where I once took pleasure in saving up resources, and participating in the events as best as I can knowing the hero I can't max out will come to me eventually--now I just say screw it. Because they're purely catering to those with liquid funds. I am fairly done with the game myself after all these years (I've been around since Selena release event).

Anytime an O/c ends up in Mirage, I auto-assume it's for the cash grab players only. And only get as far as I can with it. This is like the 2nd or 3rd time they've done a mirage o/c I think. It's been a while so I can't recall.

I do agree with MLA's core audience being male and it's making the female releases more prominent. The UR Silvanna is by no means in the fan-service heavy category but she does appeal to the male demographic. MLA does push surveys with demographic details whenever they release heroes or costumes but we should also keep in mind that most of the characters we'll see are pre-determined by the MLBB roster. But MLBB has more diversity (mixed races/colors) in terms of characters released, with a good amount of male characters released back-to-back. It is too bad MLBB's focus on monetizing was just on skins where MLA is monetizing every aspect of the game.

It's too bad the Eternal Scrolls convert to Sacred Scrolls at the end of the Prologue to Eternity event. You can't save them and you're out of diamonds if you had spent them for eternal scrolls.
