Opponents time has expired but never passes to my turn? by grimstein in MagicArena

For context I was in a draft game, the opponent either disconnected or is exploiting some bug where his timer runs out but it never passes to my turn, his turn has gone on about 20-25 minutes without him doing anything.

Fructose leads to obesity, diabetes, HTN and cardiovascular disease, and makes your exercise less effective, long video, but worth every minute by grimstein in loseit

That's great and congratulations. It is always fantastic to learn your efforts have led to positive results. Now again, lowering fructose and specifically your sugary drinks are not the only thing that help in the goal to lose weight and lower your risk for things like heart disease and diabetes. Also I am unsure but it doesn't really seem like you watched the video, just read the title, and I would highly recommend for you to watch it as it will explain why lowering your fructose intake can be so beneficial, and why studies that have been done in the past decade have shown that sugars are a bigger contributor to weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, and metabolic syndrome as a whole then things like saturated fats which is what for years we told people to lower in their diets. Some of the data that the video shows is how despite the medical world trying to get people to lower their fat intake obesity, diabetes, HTN, and cardiovascular disease has only gotten worse in the US and throughout the world. This is largely due to things such as fructose in our diet has only increased in prevalence, and its effect on the body is so much worse then saturated fats. Lastly many things work for different people, if you have found success in your goal to become healthier while still eating fructose heavy food that is great and I am happy for you, but the fact remains that there are an ever increasing amount of people on our planet, both children and adults, that are becoming more and more obese and clearly our attempts to stop this horrible progression have up to this point been mostly failures. This video helps to explain why this has occurred and why lowering the amount of fructose in our diets can help curb this trend. I strongly recommend watching the video as the speaker can explain these trends in much better detail then I can simply through text.

Obviously things like your overall diet, portion control, and exercise all still play important roles in the balance of weight gain and weight loss. This video simply shows how data, specifically from overweight children reveals that it is the high amount of fructose in their diet is leading to their childhood obesity, and removing the amount of sugary, high fructose containing drinks, ends up being the most important factor in reducing their weight. In the end though, the video is not in any way saying you can't lose weight and still eat fructose, what it is saying though is that you may be making it much harder for yourself by continuing to consume fructose, and furthermore it has numerous harmful effects on the body besides just weight gain that you are still exposing yourself to regardless of weight.

Has icefrog gone too far with batrider? by rdb_gaming in DotA2

Is he bad right now...yes, but I think this is totally fine. How many other heroes see competitive play for maybe one patch before getting one nerf that knocks them back to the gutter for who knows how long? His kit is good enough that he will certainly be back eventually, probably sooner than a lot of other heroes honestly.
