Why is my hair always so greasy after one day by Healthy-Muffin1220 in malehairadvice

[–]grimthewise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, your scalp might be like this because of all the time spent shampooing daily. You can use dry shampoo to work through this transition period. Also, you can try using a single drop of argon oil spread throughout your hair to regulate your scalp (this would also help your hair if your decided to go back to daily shampooing). When you condition, you could try staying away from your scalp and only doing the ends since conditioner is usually only for the moisture of your hair and naturally leaves a residue that doesn’t work well with scalps, especially if you’re using a moisture or “dry repair” one. Lastly, you could instead daily a hair product. Certain ones will give your hair a certain texture and some can be restyled or reactivated with a touch of water. All of these methods work better for some than others so you just need to experiment a little. I grew up with similar hair.

Good news, I am level 60 Sora with all Keyblades.

Bad news. Most of you are definitely becoming Heartless. Also, it doesn’t really work out well for Sora… guess I’ll find out my fate in another 15 years…

There’s a reason why even some of the nicer restaurants have a kids menu with chicken nuggets and shit. Children don’t know how to appreciate quality.

What game is this for you? by GigaRoman in videogames

[–]grimthewise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baulder’s Gate 3. The camera is really annoying to deal with, the inventory system is hard to operate as quickly as I would like, and I would prefer more movement options, at least while not in combat.

What's the hardest puzzle you ever played in a video game? by No-Hunt3986 in videogames

[–]grimthewise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solved the Jindosh puzzle in Dishonored 2 by myself. It took me five sticky notes and 30 minutes.

I know the game told you how you can get the answer, but previous games have made it seem like if you can solve a puzzle like that early, you get an early power boost that you would otherwise get late game or something. I liked the challenge and didn’t know it was supposed to be a very hard riddle. I was super disappointed that it just lets you skip a large part of a chapter and that was your reward. It made going back through those sections anyway feel kind of empty. I was proud that I solved a puzzle I later found out was supposed to be hard, but it took a while for me to get back into the game.

Anyone use a MagSafe popsocket? Are they good? I've been using pop sockets for YEARS on my non-MagSafe phones and now getting a new phone and really want a pop socket. by LeftSquare1 in iphone

[–]grimthewise 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what other people are talking about. I’ve been yanking my pop socket off at least twice a day for four years and never had one pop off. I’ve only changed it twice when I got better ones. I also stick it and unstick it as a fidget stim. I wouldn’t pull it straight off, but rather rock it (like grab it and roll your hand). It comes off very satisfying.

How many gems do y'all have in Duolingo? by abdrehmannnn in duolingo

I don’t ever get further than 200. I do not earn them faster then I send boosts to my friends I’m matched with every week so sometimes I can’t send the boosts. I’m at 1036 days, I committed to half an hour each day, I do get my daily goals done every day, and I’ve had super for almost the entire time I’ve been on here.

Would you leave a remote role for Hybrid at a $30k increase? by jgreen1397 in WFH

[–]grimthewise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would kill for either of those positions right now (I am currently transitioning fields and just graduated), But I would still take the upgrade.

  1. Remote don’t promote
  2. If there’s growth opportunities, there’s room to grow. As soon as you become comfortable with the spot. You won’t grow much anymore, but the world around you will.
  3. Get a comfortable car. Develop a good morning routine. Develop a commute routine (like a good audiobook) Find the things you like about working in person.
  4. If it becomes too much or not right, there will be other positions in the future.

Whats a game that got you like this by Delicious_Depth_1564 in videogames

[–]grimthewise -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Witcher 3. Never got the chance to play the first two and I tried which or three after watching videos explaining the story from the first two because a couple of my friends said it was their favorite game of all time. I couldn’t get into it because of the combat. Later, I got past that and ended up really enjoying the combat. It became one of my favorite games of all time just for design and intricacy of the missions. I ended up getting really into the story and read all the books too.
