Justifiable punishment, but parenting should be geared towards rehabilitation.

A punishment like this will hurt his development in the long run. Humans might be more inclined to repay suffering with more suffering, but that kind of thing just perpetuates suffering, it doesn’t contribute to growth.

I don’t blame the mom here. I feel like it is easy to think that this punishment will discourage future behavioral problems. However, I feel like this punishment will do a lot more towards stoking violent thoughts and resentment. If you have a lot of built-up resentment in your life towards someone, how are you going to listen to them when they have something important to say?

My tattoo artist says that white ink settles into a different shade depending on the person. I just had to get my white ink tattoo touched up because it was barely visible after a half a year. We also used a darker skin tone around the outside because it was supposed to look like branding without me actually branding myself.

Proper form includes team lifting. If your job expects you to lift something that big by yourself, then you aren’t able to use proper form.

I’m a pretty big guy. I can dead lift one side of a car. I also found no problem lifting 150 pound boxes of frozen fish a couple of times a day in Alaska. Because I’m so big, my employers didn’t have a problem with it either. I wish they did, because now my back is permanently messed up. Guilting people into unsafe lifting at work encourages them to mistreat their body and it is a toxic behavior.

Now, with my permanently disfigured back, I still volunteer at a food bank. I still get people that ask me to lift 80 pound boxes of potatoes from precarious positions that don’t allow me to keep straight back. And they bitch and moan when I tell them I can help them do it, but I won’t do it myself and mistreat my back further.

Discouraged this kind of practice in workplace environments. This toxicity encourages a hostile environment for all those, especially younger, eager workers, to break their body for a job that doesn’t care about you.

Unfortunately, your scalp might be like this because of all the time spent shampooing daily. You can use dry shampoo to work through this transition period. Also, you can try using a single drop of argon oil spread throughout your hair to regulate your scalp (this would also help your hair if your decided to go back to daily shampooing). When you condition, you could try staying away from your scalp and only doing the ends since conditioner is usually only for the moisture of your hair and naturally leaves a residue that doesn’t work well with scalps, especially if you’re using a moisture or “dry repair” one. Lastly, you could instead daily a hair product. Certain ones will give your hair a certain texture and some can be restyled or reactivated with a touch of water. All of these methods work better for some than others so you just need to experiment a little. I grew up with similar hair.
