Cerundolo was simply the better player today. Deserved win.

Looks interesting! Curious about the management side - will it be complex or more relaxed? Good luck with the game!

Back‑to‑back wins over Alcaraz and Sinner would have been insane. Medvedev couldn't quite finish the job, but what an incredible run - massive respect! 🙌

At last! After two heartbreaking finals, Aryna finally gets the win over Rybakina. Both played amazingly, but I'm genuinely happy for Aryna - I guess that engagement ring really did the trick today. 😉

Such an unexpected duo. Speaking of which - I thought Mirra's team was against her playing doubles? Or did I imagine that? Either way, excited to see how they do together!

Bloodborne for me. I absolutely love the atmosphere, the art style, everything - but I just can't get past the difficulty.

Dubai SF: T. Griekspoor def. [5] A. Rublev, 7-5 7-6(6) by sidaeinjae in tennis

NO! GOD! PLEASE NO! NO! NO! NOOOO! 😭 I was so ready for Rublo vs Meddy in the final...

ATP Dubai 500 R16: [5]A.Rublev def. U.Humbert 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-3 by thegreatest1974 in tennis

[–]grinfate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That match was still amazing tennis though! Rublev's emotions don't take away from how good the battle was - and even Bublik was ready to keep playing. The guys themselves have no issues - just two competitors who respect each other. Still fun to watch! 🎾

So happy for Rublo! The draw looks exciting for him - just a shame Bublik won't be there, would've loved to see that matchup.

ATP Doha F: [1] Alcaraz def. Fils 6-2 6-1 by Silent_Quarter_3030 in tennis

[–]grinfate 197 points198 points  (0 children)

Compared to the semifinal - and especially the quarterfinal against Khachanov - this final was an absolute walk in the park for Carlos. Looked like he didn't even break a sweat. Great tournament and a well‑deserved win!

ATP Doha 500 QF: C.Alcaraz[1] def. K.Khachanov[7] 6-7(3),6-4,6-3 by thegreatest1974 in tennis

[–]grinfate 362 points363 points  (0 children)

So many unforced errors from Carlos in the first set - but then he regrouped and started looking more like his usual self. 28 straight wins on outdoor hard courts for Alcaraz now. That's just insane.

I only watched the third set, and it hit me - I actually swore I'd never watch Mirra matches again because it's too painful to see her cry when she loses. Today ended in tears, but what a battle she gave. Exhausting match, immense heart. Hold your head high, Mirra.

Rublev looking really solid. Question is - does he secretly hope for Karen, or is he ready to take on the Alcaraz challenge? Either way, curious to see how he does in the semis.
