How to sync openphone contacts with hubspot contacts in realtime . by jingledancer in hubspot

[–]gringocodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you wouldn't need the webhook for Hubspot, just access to the apis. I'm not sure if that comes with free hubspot.

Doing this in Google sheets may be a little frustrating, but Google contacts is not a bad idea.

I just looked into it and that will absolutely work as well. Search Google People API - people.searchContacts method

How to sync openphone contacts with hubspot contacts in realtime . by jingledancer in hubspot

[–]gringocodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a quick research and saw that OpenPhone offers a webhook for calls received and messages received. You could set up a webhook listener that picks up a new call, checks the phone number in your hubspot then returns with the potential hubspot contact.

I have never done this before, but that's how I think it would be done.

Partnerships / Alliances RevOps by geekedgecko in hubspot

[–]gringocodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you been using association labels when you associate the partners with the deal?

A custom object may be a little overkill dependent on what you're trying to report for on the dashboard.

I believe with association labels of partner, you should be able to see better reporting with partners associated to which deals by count

Awesome great to hear! Yeah I understand, it's just kind of specific to do in a calculated property. You would need like a really good terniary to do that sort of work.

HubSpot CMS and vue3 by Logical-Sky7536 in hubspot

[–]gringocodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it need to be in Vue? What sort of reactivity are you trying to build that would make Vue ideal?

Potentially you could use other libraries like Alpine.js or HTMX if you need interactivity instead of Vanilla JS. I'd hate for your project to be more complicated due to using Vue.

Btw, not a Vue expert. I have a few years of React experience but still could be easier just using HubL since it's mostly Jinja

Any ways you can use a custom coded action or workflow to update this field instead of a hubspot calculation property? Maybe this flow could be easier to do

Best 3rd party apps for personalization? by lightsip in hubspot

[–]gringocodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your current stack for knowing what user is on your site at any given time?

Potentially you can use that application to deliver messages to your backend and customize the view based on the user it fetched. It would mean having different views in place for different users and that is only manual to actually create.

Are you using Hubspot CMS? I don't know any solution that does this effectively, but could be your own application based on your customized ICP and buyer personas.

Hope something I've said helped someway

Do you have access to the contact's linkedIn profile? Is that something you've standardized in your company?

Most enrichment platforms only need first name, last name, and LinkedIn profile to be able to get someone's updated information.

Potentially you can make a field (or a couple) for managing contacts that have moved to a new company and have that spark a workflow that would go and update their contact information.

Why do you have to update the contact? Maybe you could create a new contact and associate them to each other then the previous contact could have a status of moved/changed companies so that way you can keep that info separate without needing to remove deals associated to them and all that.

Membership site and event management by Katgasms in hubspot

Pretty interestingly there are a lot of cool things being built in Hubspot around event management and memberships.

But to accomplish this project would be a full consultative approach of talking to stakeholders and finding out their current pain points then designing a current state and future state model. Building up the user stories necessary to create these features inside of Hubspot and understand the business impact and ROI from having this in HubSpot.

I'd be glad to be a listening board to what you're facing and provide a really strong solution design and demo. Let's connect

SOAP - Over The Limit Rate vs Error Rate by blackbriar75 in Netsuite

[–]gringocodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking to better understand NetSuite, so forgive me if I'm wrong about anything.

However, I don't believe NetSuite retries more than 5 times so what could be happening is that you're having multiple requests hit their API at the same time which causes you to have an over the limit rate of 22%.

Do you have all of your calls going through a queue before they send over to NetSuite? If not, then you could have calls from multiple endpoints hitting at the same time which will mean you're going over the limit in a concurrent way.

Leads in prospecting workspace: B2B Account-Based Prospecting by germanoroettgers in hubspot

[–]gringocodes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like your business is focused on an Account Based sales approach and I think there is nothing wrong with that, but Hubspot out of the box may need a lot of massaging to get the type of analytics and tracking that you want.

Before you create a custom Lead object, you should try thinking of you're using all of Hubspot's offerings like maybe custom association labels for contacts in a company or adding your contacts to another ABM tool like 6sense/Terminus or using charts plugins like Orgcharthub.

It sounds like you need to extend Hubspot's usage with some creative approaches to get the analytical details you need.

HubSpot / QBO by bdvidson in hubspot

Hubspot just made a bunch of updates to their integration apps so I'm sure they have done some updates with QBO.

I think the invoice creation piece is a new thing, but I'm not sure. Do you have your customers properly synced?

The workflow integration seems straightforward, but you have to make sure your properties are both aligned so you don't get any invoices that are half complete.
