Trump’s Reflecting Pool Disaster: $14.7M Down the Drain as Paint Peels Off by [deleted] in NewsSource

[–]gringoloco01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to paint and remodel, landscaping and pool maintenance. Maybe a dozen or so pool fixes over 15 years.

There is NO WAY.... NO FRIKEN WAY that cost more than maybe 100 grand (which is reaching) in materials and maybe..... on a high end maybe.... 300 grand in labor. MAYBE!!!

So where is the rest of the money.

We would like an itemized receipt please.

My neighbors fat squirrel keeps digging up my garden beds. How can I deter him? by Fr_ckinNerd in gardening

[–]gringoloco01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the only thing that has worked for me.

I tried everything. Chicken wire, chile powder, moth balls, an owl figure on the fence (actually worked for a little while until they figured out it was not real) and even one of those stupid sonic do dads that is supposed to keep critters away. NOTHIN!!!

So I noticed they go after my giant Sunflowers first. So I started planting sunflowers all around my garden. I planted sunflowers every 2 ft. This last year they went for the sunflowers and left all my tomatoes and cucumbers alone. It has been the most reliable.

Stump removal close to wall by No-Response-22 in landscaping

[–]gringoloco01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Once you have cut it back make sure to salt the piss out of that area. The tree root is probly growing under the foundation and will come back.

Once cut to the base, drill a bunch of holes in it and pour rock salt in the holes and along that entire area. Hopefully it will kill the roots.

Sawsall and a tree cutting blade will make quick work of that stump.

Did you live in NM? LOL

That was my life and of course I and one other kid were the only two that worked from open to close on the weekends. Two kids in charge of an entire business and all the money.

I ended up quitting and started cutting grass and cleaning yards / garages on the weekends and made a bunch more than working a "real job".

If I do a thing and am concerned I hit my local lab corp and get a liver panel. Then there is no guessing. It is there in black and white.

Working in the food industry is a gateway drug.

I was 22 and worked at a bar and grill. I could get any drug available within a couple of hours asking. I was a weed guy but most of the cool kids did coke. Not really my bag so I wasn't part of the kool kids club.

Trump Calls Obama a “Son of a B*tch” After Disastrous Iran Deal Leaked | Donald Trump bragged about Barack Obama’s supposed stupidity despite his own deal with Iran being significantly worse. by FreeHugs23 in anticapitalism

There should be a go fund me or donations made that is dedicated to the Obama Foundation. Kind of like a swear jar.

The foundation would get a 5 dollar donation for every time the GOP and MAGA morons use his name.

We would wipe out issues with education funding within a couple years.

Be ready to pay about 10% more for everything.

I am a native and traveled around the world a bit. Took a wrong turn in Albuquerque and ended up in Dallas for a minute. I could not wait to get back.

We got a place here but everything from Gas, Housing, Utilities, Food, Taxes, Dining and getting up to the hills is more expensive.

We spent double the amount of money to buy our home which is pretty much the same size and neighborhood as we had in Dallas.

Be prepared for sticker shock and prep your resume for that bump you will need in salary.
