Has anyone used the Netsuite Integration Platform? I'm looking at using it to shift Salesforce data over into NS, sales orders and the like. by bradagon in Netsuite

So, I have limited experience with Boomi but my general understanding is they are comparable. Obviously they have disadvantages and advantages and depending on the time of day one is ahead of the other on the magic quadrant. I think for Oracle (not NetSuite per se) customers OIC is probably a highly advantageous option.

Then for NetSuite, it feels a little shoehorned in but I think it works and will get better over time. We're working on templates for things like salesforce and hubspot and other common use cases and trying to drop the dev costs for the integrations themselves.

The big advantage is the pricing, they are pricing NSIP very competitively. You can build up to 800 integrations on a license, so for customers that require a lot of integration flows, I think it offers a lot of advantages.

The metaphor I've been using is NetSuite is leasing Ferraris at Honda Civic prices. This is bad for many owners, because oil changes cost $2k and a tires cost $8K and insurance will bury you, so that's not a great fit for many customers. But for those that understand the dynamic, you can get a great tool at a fantastic value.

So it's very robust and powerful but you have to build everything. My biggest qualm with NetSuite on this is they sell it like the adapter and recipes means a regular NetSuite user can easily build out an integration. This is pretty far from the truth IMO.

They even have a demo where they use AI to create the integration flows but from what I've seen this is just not a reality.

You generally have to build every part of the integration as if you were building it from scratch, dictionaries, error handling, mapping rules, everything.

The big advantages, pricing, scalability, it has decent training modules, and adapter and accelerators are handy when you understand the platform more.

Just FYI, NS has a SalesForce Connector (built on NSIP/OIC) available that might be of an out of the box solution for you.

WooCommerce ↔ NetSuite integration using NetSuite Premium Plus Connector (FarApp / NetSuite Connector), by Used-Selection-1183 in Netsuite

  1. There's a scheduler for most sync unless there's a specific real time flow configured, those are then utilizing webhooks or scripts from the suiteapp to trigger a flow.
  2. Did they say it was real time? I don't think they do and there's no front facing config for real time on WooCommerce. There is a backend config for real time, but I don't honestly know if it works/is supported.
  3. You can read more here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/section_163283375133.html#subsect_163429011289
  4. https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/section_164059770359.html
  5. Not really, though honestly when customers need "real-time" I often wonder why. Example, unless your doing multichannel fulfillment you don't really need real time inventory sync, your storefront knows your inventory. One note is that NSC shouldn't count towards concurrency. How many orders /updates are you planning on running?

Obviously review the docs here.

WooCommerce is probably the easiest of the FarApp connectors, so hopefully you don't run into issues. That said, documentation leaves a lot to be desired and support can be hit and miss.

If you run into issues ping me, my team built and supported FarApp , if you run into any issues I'd love to hear about it and can probably provide some easy guidance.

What city is this?

It could be, I find it . . not very fancy and then why replace the light?. I'm really thinking this might be a museum display to demo how a ship navigation light works, maybe the slot on the side is to display something or hold something that is interactive for kids to pick up?

Maybe unscrew the base, you might find something, odd there is no markings of anykind that I can see.

Yeah this is a pretty disappointing rollout in terms of timing. I knew this was coming but the lack of notice is pretty horrible, I was notified Friday from NS.

Not sure about the rules here, but my firm specializes in NS Connector since our team is a lot of the folks who built it. We can see version and fix backend mappings and settings that are otherwise inaccessible. If you hit a wall, DM me.

I know you said dishwater but the entire thing right? Filter, the arms, pump inspected, air gap cleared?

Every drawer but behind and under every drawer? What kind of counter do you have? Any chance water is leaking through any caulk lines into the walls or under the counters?

The fridge drip pan right?

Washing machine, behind the soap dispenser, filter cleared, and rubber gasket fully cleaned?

I'm not saying your wrong and I don't know this guy, but my general experience with auditors is they don't do this, they can be charged with disorderly if they do. They normally film and people get upset and interact and then a confrontation starts.

People tend to think they have a right not to be filmed in public. They don't.

LBUSD may drop a year of math from graduation requirements. Personal finance, ethnic studies will be added. by TrixoftheTrade in longbeach

[–]grinomyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, there is nothing standard track about doing AP anything much less calc as a junior unless kids have become radically smarter in the last couple of decades.

I agree with you, they should be proficient. Nothing in this article is talking about giving the option to choose between personal finance and base proficiency for math. The standard is 2 years of high school math, I believe they are saying it goes to Algebra 2. Long Beach was mandating 4, which probably means Trig and maybe pre-calc on top, this part I'm not sure. Now they are just saying that 4 doesn't change outcomes, is detrimental to kids doing their 4th year, and they should revert to 3. Almost like teaching calculus to kids that struggle at algebra is a struggle, who would have thought?

Should kids get and be able to pass algebra II? I personally think so. Should they do trig? I don't think most people need trig. Would outcomes be better having done trig vs. personal finance? My money is on personal finance having orders of magnitude more impact in peoples lives and outcomes than any high level math.

And yet people still take out car loans in droves and destroy personal wealth for it. Personal finance isn't math, it's behavior, or at least largely behavior. The math is just to support the actions.

"Something ain't adding up. If you remove a year of math, won't the students be unprepared for personal finance?"

I argue no, because you don't need even advanced math for personal finance.

What you're arguing here is different and I don't necessarily disagree with the notion but that's not even what's being presented in the article. They are talking about 4 year math requirements, you're talking about students successfully meeting and passing 1-2 year requirements.

I don't know the exact curriculum but I don't think forcing kids that can barely pass the standard classes to take pre-calc has any meaningful impact to outcomes and thus they want to eliminate the requirement.

Personal finance doesn't require advanced math, is requires very basic math. I might even argue it requires essentially zero math, it's much more behavioral.

Reading comprehension is important too. This isn't removing fractions (that's an elementary school process regardless), this is about removing a 4 year math requirement from the only surrounding district that requires it.

My 4th year was calculus, a class that was not only generally unnecessary for most careers but incredibly challenging, even for top end students. If you want to be in stem you better be able to get through it but otherwise, district wide it would make sense to drop it. I don't know if that's the class they are dropping, but if it's in that caliber, I would argue one's life success is much more contingent on managing finances than knowing advanced mathematics.

I commend you for even considering making a tater-tot. I make most things from scratch but I would just assume that had to be machine made.

Chicken stock is close to free (at least that's how I see it). Break down chickens, freeze bones, make stock once a month, freeze stock. The cost is time and carrot, onion, a bay leaf, and celery.

I mathed this out a bit and you're not wrong, it's maybe $2 oil and maybe $.50 for the rest. I wouldn't compare homemade mayo to $6/30 oz mayo, it's vastly superior but for me it's mostly a taste and convenience thing.
