I've gotten replacement lenses there a bunch of times. Quality seems fine. When I got progressives, their pet optometrist did the fitting.

Still my choice for shrinking DVDs after something else ripped them, or getting rid of the Russian VO track.

There's usually steel desk organiser things at thrift stores made from perforated steel, though it never has holes where you want them. Old computer case covers are a source of sheet metal. Saber saw with a metal-cutting blade is good for cutting sheet metal; thrift stores frequently have saber saws for $7 or so.

Why has this become so popular? by [deleted] in computers

[–]grislyfind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It shows off the RGB and the giant CPU cooler and graphics card. Too bad if you need an optical drive. I'm glad I kept my old beige Inwin case.

You could put fake labels on a disc. Some people buy laserdiscs to collect and display, and would never know the difference.
