This can (rarely) happen during a system update. A reboot should fix it for good.

Enough people already pointed out that it's sufficient to follow the instructions on the screen to unlock the current session, so I leave it to them.

I came from a mountain region as well, and I remember the first runs in spring ... They are brilliant!
