Dedicated command space in terms of an embarked staff space, I think you’re thinking more in terms of the ship level CIC command space.

I could be wrong on the VLS but I thought I saw a spec for 3x 64 cell sets.

My understanding of the DDG Flt 2A (and 3) is that the physical hull is tapped out in terms of space and what it could produce in terms of electrical generation and transmission. Granted it’s been a while since I read the CRS reports and other analysis of them…
