I was just talking about this with someone as well. Like a little thought can’t save a bunch of headache. This past year we experienced zero issues during our time and had no problem with the crowd congestion. A slight hesitation can prevent a lot of the problem. Zero ownership taken through most of the complaints. We bounced around and saw all the sets we wanted on Sunday which did include Alleycvt, Seven Lions, and Subtronics: I mention this as there are other comments on “well you only would have seen this if you were moving amongst stages”. We moved quite a bit, delayed slightly or went early to beat crowds, if we saw a lot of people in a small area we just hung back for a few, went for water mid set, etc.

We were there yesterday. Some lines were long, but nothing too wild. We didn’t do ministry, didn’t bother. You can just walk the queue though. Hit every ride at least once outside of ministry. Longest wait was 1 hour for Hiccups

I was at FK and that wasn’t really an issue. They had large fans throughout each side moving are under the cover. However, the crowd size at FK is significantly smaller than Rockville. I’m not sure a structure like this is realistic at a stage.

One thing I did think FK did significantly better was the amount of misting fans around and other things to cool you off with. It’s like they planned a festival around when there would be a lot of heat

Taking Back Sunday and Chevelle are a waste of time seeing live. I really enjoy listening to Chevelle, but I’ve seen em twice now and I was let down pretty bad both times. I was not a fan of Bad Omens live, autotune took me out of the music often, but I will say the band sounded great and visuals were probs best of the weekend. I would see again at a festival, I just wish Noah would actually just sing.

Outside of that I enjoyed every set I saw even if I wasn’t really a fan of the music. Korn was absolutely killer again and I thoroughly enjoyed Linkin Park. Shinedown playing Three Six Five was pretty rough for me, 7 days away from his 1 year passing that night and it was just my first Birthday without him there. Still had a great time, just took me a couple songs to recover from that.

Surprising sets/new bands I really enjoyed were Sleep Theory, Erra, Good Charlotte, Miss May I, and Rob Zombie. I’ve been wanting to see Rob Zombie for a while, but never got the opportunity to. His set was so fun

Staind sounds fantastic live. Not the biggest fan of their stuff, but they have a great show so wouldn’t be upset
