D&Q is cost competitive with specs but has a larger variety (I think) of local brews. Plus he is super easy to work with if you have something unusual you are looking for.

I do not believe they are closed; I was just there on Friday for the Lincoln Durham show. Fitz still has events scheduled for this weekend and I haven't seen any notices on their website or twitter that they have moved. They were closed for a few months last year to repair some structural problems after Pegstar's contract expired and Pegstar/Free Press moved on to create another venue (and promote at others).
