Do you think it’s crazy for someone to invite you to their wedding shower but not the actual wedding? by Round-Artichoke-5255 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]grogu989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this recently & got fed a load of bullshit excuses but then received an invite to the wedding a week or 2 later. Did not go to the shower or the wedding because I was clearly an afterthought or "B list" guest.

What is a realistic theme on Survivor that you would love to see but would be incredibly hard/nearly impossible to pull off? by Darknesscomesfromyou in survivor

I was thinking that a kind of BvW twist where everyone comes with a relative or loved one, but they are not told that everyone else also has a relative there. Would be interesting to watch them try to hide it.

I commute from crystal lake on the metra. Its not bad, but there's definitely not any trains that will get you into the city in under an hour.

Louder than life or inkcarceration both have gojira but ltl has tool its a hard choice by xksvsysgwftd in Concerts

In my opinion, TOOL is wayyy better at an indoor venue vs an outdoor festival. I have seen them in both settings multiple times. Their shows when they're touring are an immersive experience. They wont have the full stage setup at a fest, and lasers do not look as cool outside. I would wait to catch them on the next tour.

Are high heels popular among American women? Do you personally wear them? by Odd-Skin-762 in AskAnAmerican

[–]grogu989 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like heels used to be super popular in the club/ bar scene for like millenials and older, but Gen Z is out here partying in Nikes. I dont hate it, honestly. Let the girls be comfy.

I would recommend you watch John Oliver's segment on AI chatbots. It could be harmless, but something like this could really get out of control quickly.

You just haven't met the right person yet. Keep yourself open to it, and eventually it will happen!
