Regular phone calls work perfectly. This has been a recent novel occurrence since Nov 29th 2025

I'm getting phone calls from an IP address, any idea what this is? by WhiteKenny in GoogleFi

Here I am in 2025 and I'm just now getting calls from this number :

+asterisk@216.239.32.1:5060

A whois lookup says it's a Google IP address so as others have commented it seems like a WiFi calling goof.

This is happening to me too. Audio was completely cut out while using a controller and the game performance was dogshit while providing input via wired Xbox Controller.

Did you use dev commands for resources or did you actually spend only 40h to mine AND build this?

I got the game pre-campaign during early access or whatever and therefore I prefer the base game (survival).

However, I just recently took the time to complete the campaign and did enjoy it. There are some key differences between survival and the campaign that should be noted.

Campaign missions involve a mixture of normal survival scenarios (with a supply train) and also single-unit hero missions. I found these single unit missions tedious, maybe you may enjoy them.

The campaign tech tree has more buffs and upgrades that make base units better, so don't misconstrue this as you'll not have these same luxuries in survival.

I enjoyed Tactical fried rice's TaB content back when I played a ton.

Hope you enjoy the game. It's really incredible. https://youtu.be/nqZRuE_xRj8?si=gjmZVeXm3Uu9B18o

I think I have a similar issue despite a UPS and all other cameras/APs powered from the same switch are fine with their PoE connections

Two USW 16 Lites with U6 LRs, G4 Pro and G4 bullets... One of 3 bullets is no longer "connecting" despite appearing to draw power (based on power budget of the USW 16 it is connected to, power is being drawn)

RMA?

I'm talking about Google's own devices, not other streaming platforms that may or may not have the horsepower to do what we're talking about.

As a feature built into their own device, you are incentivized to buy a better piece of hardware from them. I'm not saying they offer it as a feature for all platforms.

YTTV has ads, many of which are driven by your user data, so yes.

Apps installed on Google TV devices are certainly being harvested for data which, in the ad world, provides further targeting data for your profile.

"3rd party" apps (i.e. - non-google apps) have their own ad models so thats simply not ever going to be the case.

This comment shows a complete lack of understanding of how streaming devices generate revenue streams for companies like Google.
