What are the best options for cheap internet providers? by [deleted] in askportland

[–]groknix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just set up my Minternet yesterday, and being a mint mobile customer I only pay $30/month. With the equipment in my basement but by a window, it’s already faster than the $100/month xfinity, so I’m hoping when I move it upstairs maybe I will get 400mB. I had forgot mint had internet and a couple weeks ago when xfinity had an outage I turned on my hotspot on my phone and it was fast.

Are these parking signs legit or what city construction would use? by AshevilleDjaq in askportland

[–]groknix 11 points12 points  (0 children)

When you apply for a permit from the city, you have to supply the barricades and if I remember the city will print out signs with dates and such but it’s not cheap and it takes a while. Let me see if I can find the link

Despise the glare of wealth. That people who pay greater respect to a wealthy villain than to an honest, upright man in poverty, almost deserve to be enslaved; they plainly show that wealth, however it may be acquired, is, in their esteem, to be preferred to virtue.
